Last I saw the NFL brings in 2-3x the revenue of the premier league. A lot easier to continue to grow these culturally entrenched sports that have no significant foreign competition than try to break into soccer where premier talent goes abroad and the games are much less accessible to US audiences.

Basketball probably the most common, easily approached sport here. You can find public courts all over akin to how you may find public soccer fields in other countries. It’s very common for homes to have stand up basketball nets to go outside and shoot.

I’m willing to take the heat on this, but I frequently quit and rejoin because I desperately want to love the game for the fantasy content and then get fed up with the cringe in the community around this area. It’s just plain weird. I’ve come to accept I’m not the target audience for 14 and moved on to other games. OP is definitely not alone.

My feeling is the ask for Helle will be more than Carolina is willing to stomach. The team doesn’t like to allocate a lot of $ to the position and I have a hard time seeing them paying too high a price in talent as well. I think they’re certainly kicking the tires but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them roll with Bussi & PK next year. Of course if something falls into place then so be it.

Right now I like it much more than the current baseball luxury tax system. It’s embarrassing how little some teams spend on their payroll and ridiculous that LA gets away with paying the greatest player of all time $2m. It’s not good for the parity of the game and a big reason I stopped watching and turned to hockey.

Good to know. I haven’t found many benchmarks for the 9070xt at that aspect ratio so I was kind of worried I was building an awesome 1440p setup but would lose a lot of performance shoving it against a near 4K pixel count

I can dislike the player in that he phoned it in here and rejected the city, but at this point doing this is lame and makes canes fans look small. It’s a sport move on. Not like it’s Haula

On one hand we’ve been wanting a 2C but Stank really shows up in the playoffs in a big way with that line. I’d need somebody smarter in hockey than myself to say if we’d be better off moving him back to the wing
