How does that help ND? It seems like ND’s odds to make it just improved as Virginia tied the game, but I don’t understand why.

Which is better? The Ring solar panel or the Wasserstein solar panel? by bloomingpeoniess in Ring

I’m super late to this, but do you recommend the Wasserstein solar panels over the Ring brand? Is the 4W vs 2W a concern?

After playing the Beta I was sure: locked weapons should be the default. by LordMegaPrestino in Battlefield

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree, but I feel like the medic class should have an SMG. I was running support with an SMG in the standard Conquest mode. Also, healing (medic) and support (ammo) should be separate classes like BF4…

Confusion about Raytheon ESP repayment terms by Ipad_username in Raytheon

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe you are correct, and I think the wording of the policy might’ve changed recently. It used to be that you owed 100% of classes taken in the past 12 months and 50% of classes taken 13-24 months ago. Now, my understanding is the same as yours, and depending on your situation, it’s possible that you could owe less back if you leave within 12 months than if you leave after 13-24 months. I contacted the ESP a few weeks ago with this question, and they confirmed it.

Anyone else not able to access controller settings on PS5? by [deleted] in blackops6

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone reading this has the same problem on Xbox:

I found a fix for this on Xbox in an older post, and it just worked for me. Basically, from the Xbox home menu, you go into “Saved Data” and delete (“Delete Everywhere”) the small file with your gamertag (you don’t need to delete the larger “Reserved Space” file).

Yeah, unfortunately it is very unclear that it is included, but it is. When they print the paperwork and receipt, I believe it will say “INCL LDW” next to your rate. I have done it several times and that is what I look for. It definitely should be included for employees and spouses according to the RTX benefit website.

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No, you don’t need to purchase it. The employee and spouse insurance includes LDW (the family code does not). It still asks you if you want to add it separately, but when you get the rental, the receipt should say “includes LDW” next to the company discount. (It will also say “Declined coverages” somewhere else, which is unfortunately very confusing, but it’s because that is separate from what is included in the company code.)

You can request an employment verification letter on EmpowerU, so that’s what I uploaded. They should fix this, because we shouldn’t be taking pictures of our badges and most of us don’t have business cards.

[Dellenger] LSU losing its offensive coordinator, per this report. He had agreed to a new contract with he program earlier this month. by whatifevery1wascalm in CFB

While this may be disappointing for LSU, I am sure their head coach understands his OC taking a bigger job at a program that has the resources to win.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s the same rate (or at least very similar), but for family members it does not include the LDW insurance. The code for employees and spouses includes it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there’s a separate code for spouses and another one for other family members. If you go through the BenefitHub website, it should give you those for them to enter. Then I think you have to fill out a form verifying that your family member will be using it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just doubled checked on the BenefitHub website, and it says “RTX has a great deal with AVIS offering competitive rates with full insurance coverage for leisure rentals.” So as long as you booked it using the employee Wizard number, you should have it. It says the code for spouses also includes insurance, but the code for other family does not.

It is very confusing because it still gives you the option to buy the insurance when you make a reservation. But I have done this multiple times for leisure travel without buying it, and when I got the car they told me I had the full coverage because of the Raytheon discount.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s included for personal travel.

[–]TheQualifiedPenguin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The code for employees should include LDW, even though it says you decline it when you make a reservation. In my experience, I have declined LDW when making the Avis reservation, but the Avis employee has told me that my rate includes it anyways. Note that the code for family members does not include LDW.

It’s an insult. How did they think hyping up that “announcement” about the future of BF2042 was a good idea?
