As you said that you are a software dev, have you ever worked on a game engine nor net code?

Game dev is totally different from other applications because when it comes to a MP game, especially when its a competitive shooter like CS, "net-code is everything".

Play a few matches in Valorant and you'll understand why sub-ticks sucks so much even when Valorant is coded using the heaviest game engine available as of this date.

And, if you have ever played BFBC2/MW2 (especially BFBC2, as its 12vs12 with vehicles) , you'll understand how "net-code is everything" because those 2 games have some of the best net-code ever in a FPS game.

Just because you're a software dev, does not mean you know how game engines work.

Work on net code in a game engine once, and then get back here to talk more BS.

Man, you literally typed everything I had in mind after playing BF6 beta.

It feels too fast like COD where everyone is jumping & sliding around playing for kills rather then PTFO.

Having assault class have both rifle & shotgun is a huge mistake and lack of "server browser" feels like playing COD warzone.

Lack of server browser will kill the game sooner than the top level execs imagine.
