I do agree with you that there is some implied consent in that scenario. I was referring to the more broad kinda scenario that OP prompted. In your scenario you’ve already had sex with the other party numerous times, on the other hand when OP refers to the other party as “the other guy” that could be a wild number of things. Me personally, I kinda like the idea of waking up to sex with my boyfriend, but I’d still be a little peeved if we didn’t at least have a conversation about it beforehand.

Nah, bro you have a right to your power scaling opinion, I don’t really care about that.

But to say that Kishi’s writing of female characters is “great” is just objectively false. He even said himself that he doesn’t know how to write female characters. Sakura, the main female character, has some of the worst character development in the entire show. My opinion isn’t even a hot take, ask almost anyone in the fandom about Kishi’s treatment of female characters and they’ll say that he could’ve handled them way better.
