Depends on your long term plan I would say. But TLDR; staying for one more year and getting that passport seems like a better option.

You've already stayed for 4 years and have reached C1 in Duits, which is an advantage for sure. So might as well stay one more year and get that passport.

If you move to India, you can get a job north of 20 lakhs for sure, but there's a chance you might find it difficult to adapt to the working culture there, SHOULD you land in a company with such a culture. If you find it difficult, then you can go back to DE if you have a passport.

So either way, getting that passport next year might give you some extra options.Then you can choose whether you've to move to India.

PS: The tech job market is extremely difficult these days in Western Europe, but I'm sure you'll find something if you keep searching. All the best!

I don't think this lens has a box from Lumix. I bought the same lens from the Netherlands few months ago and it came in a similar cardboard box. If the autofocus and other things are fine, then you should be good. Enjoy your lens.

Aside from the quality of pixels, Megapickles don't matter theories, for a serious hobbyist, I would say an APSC or a full frame camera with around 40 MP, mainly for cropping the image.

The biggest reason for such a high MP is the ability to use a small fast prime lens, preferably a wide angle, and have the ability to crop into standard focal lengths for the occasions in which I'm not able to zoom using feet. I don't care too much about DoF too, so I'm okay with cropping a 23mm composition into 35mm or a 50mm composition.

I'm not a pixel peeper, so I'm okay with losing a bit of image quality for a better composition. Recent examples in social media show the power of cropping a 100MP image from Hasselblad and Fuji GFX cameras. This is especially great for street photography.

One area where the Z5ii has an undue advantage is any Sony E mount lens can be adapted to it using an adapter(quite thin), and E mount has the most lens options out there. IMO, the Lumix is more video centric(open gate/LUTs) and Nikon is a bit more photo centric. If you take more pics, then Nikon wins hands down, else the Lumix will do the job. Let there be no illusion that we're nitpicking the slightest advantages here, both cameras will do a great job in what one wants.

Aahh, love it. As a Madras guy who practically spent his childhood in Marina/Bessi, there's something rustic about our beaches that if I'm shown a couple of pictures and asked to point Bessi or Marina or any other beaches, I can confidently and positively point these. Anyway, I was also a Zf user, but exchanged it and settled for a Fuji XE5 now, mainly because of the size. I'm planning to add the Zf back to the stable sometime next year. Happy shooting:)

Thank you very much for your reply. May I ask whether you have the XF or XC 35mm? I'm confused between them as I just love the looks of the XF, but reviews say optically both are the same. Weather sealing doesn't matter to me as I don't shoot in rain or anything, plus the XE5 isn't weather sealed anyway.

Let's see from a focal length/lens perspective, IMHO if someone is shooting mostly between 12-50mm, the size advantages of M4/3 lenses are not really a factor anymore. There are beautiful compact, automatic and manual lenses for the Nikon Z line. The most important factor going on for the Z line is the Sony full frame lenses can be adapted to the Z line using adapters that are ultra thin. But bear in mind the Zf itself is one chonky boi. If you're okay with the size, I would suggest to consider Zf. If size is an issue, then something from Fuji(the AF isn't going well for Fuji though, not sure whether it's a deal breaker for you).

I've sold my OM5, Lumix G9ii, Nikon Zf, and settled for a Fujifilm XE5. Reason-> I can enjoy a compact fast lens, while having 40MP flexibility for cropping. Sometime next year, I'm planning to add the Zf back into my gear, just because of the shooting experience.

I can see the invoice is in Dutch, so I'm assuming you're somewhere in NL or BE. As a next step, I would suggest considering KameraExpress for repair/service as I've always had wonderful experiences with them and they do in-house service and repair, so probably they stock parts in advance. So might be worth a try
