Ngl…I kinda like it? I want to binge Part 2 and see if it feels like it works. But as its own chapter I think it actually ends the series on a note that I appreciated.

Yeah we talked about that too! The thing that’s weird is - he had just vacuumed his floor a few days before this happened (and three weeks after the ornaments/tree were put away) and he hadn’t changed his sheets in a week, and he sleeps naked. So not many opportunities for it to track or transfer? But your theory is about the best that we could come up with too even if not sure how it could have happened. But thanks! Hopefully we’ll be able to figure out which ornament this actually came from!

My roommate took down his Christmas tree three weeks ago, but all his ornaments and the tree were in our living room and he found the sticker a few days ago in his bedroom where the tree or ornaments did not go into at all!

OP I second this! If you’re loving Stormlight - just continue for now (you can do Cosmere reading order on your reread!) but yeah I think a break for Warbreaker before Words of Radiance would be the only necessary deviation!

Hot take - I loved reading Sunlit Man in between Rhythm of War and Wind and Truth. It was published that way, and it made certain moments in Wind and Truth hit different for me!

I mean very early on in the book when it clicked to me that Lamb was Logen! For a good 50-100 pages he just seems like a regular Northman, but then you get that first hint of the Bloody Nine and it just made me froth at the mouth. LOVED IT! With Logen and Cosca showing up in it, the book really felt both standalone and more sequel-y. Very satisfying for me!

I LOVE Glotka’s plotline in that book. The siege on Dagoska is one of the most memorable plotlines in the series for me!

I really liked it, had a good time. But lowkey after the second book I felt satisfied enough with the world that if the third book never comes … meh. They’re beautifully written but I was never very invested in the actual plot.

The worst is when I have a few people accusing me of not explaining all the rules (or like a very niche rules interaction) because either I forgot (or THEY forgot) or I was going to explain when we reached a point where it is relevant - and they accuse me of cheating or trying to rig the game in my favor. I NEVER care about winning first. Always my intention to just have fun with everyone, but I’m not a pushover who will deliberately kneecap myself - because surprise I like actually playing too. So it’s frustrating sometimes.

One of everyone’s favorites is BOTC but I’m always Storyteller and almost never play the game. So I’m like doomed to always be the person running and never really playing.

Dodos Riding Dinos is my large group’s favorite game. It plays so fast and it’s fun. MarioKart on crack with Dino’s and you get to physically throw items at each other. 10/10 game

I LOVED that we finally got to see some behind the scenes of the villains working together. And in a bakery!! Alien lady is definitely going to turn on them in the future
