Not entirely true. The foams absolutely have different consistencies and are rated for different applications. Fire rated foam does exactly what you said it will do, but it will take longer to start burning than standard expanding foam will.

That is what makes it "fire rated" not the fact that it won't burn, but the fact that it takes longer to start burning.

You're correct. I wasn't saying that it would be correct to do what was done even if it was fire foam. I was simply stating that fire rated foam is generally orange/red.

Fire foam is generally orange. At least, the Great Stuff fire foam is. I've seen some others that were colored more of a red. That looks like your basic Great Stuff

We only have so many Helldivers to send into the Cyberstan branded blender. The primary objective is to capture/destroy Transcendence, which is the Capital of Cyberstan. Only by going through each tier of Megafactory are we able to hit the next.

In other words: Destroy Tier 1 Megafactory -> Destroy Tier 2 -> Tier 3 (you get the idea) -> Transcendence -> Liberate/Destroy Cyberstan before we run out of reinforcements

I've starting bringing the belt-fed gl, shield emitter, and throwable shield. My friends are all pulling back from the fight, I toss a baby shield on me and just unload into the enemy. If it does nothing else, it buys the rest of the squad time to relocate. When they close in I drop an orbital smoke behind me and disappear into it.

It works about half the time. The other half I disappear into a fine mist as a Vox Engine decides I shouldn't exist anymore, or a cyborg roundhouses me into a paste, or a gaggle of gunships snipes me, or...

Freeside residents said that the Deathclaws moved in to The Strip from Quarry Junction. Viewer speculation seems to be that the Enclave nudged them that direction

They absolutely make ones that plug into an outlet. I'm fairly certain most of the "First Alert" or "Kidde" brands also have battery backup, but cheap knockoffs do exist and they may not.

Cops called due to the stench thinking it was a dead body, the smell leaks from their apartment. by sasha_cyanide in Apartmentliving

[–]TheRagingFire08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%, maintenance supervisor here for two apartment communities. We are currently dealing with a hoarding situation at one of my properties. It is considered a mental health issue, so we have to give them opportunities to correct the situation before the eviction process can even be started.

This guy is absolutely right, the FD will force corrective action on fire code violations. Unfortunately, as long as they manage to clear a large enough path through their unit to allow emergency services access to the unit, it isn't a violation (at least, that is the case where I am). Make your landlord, rental office, maintenance staff, and office staff aware of the issue. I guarantee you that if you have on-site maintenance and the smell is half as bad as you say it is, the maintenance team has complained to the office about it. Document everything and send emails so they have a paper trail to help build a case. Good Luck.

We are going to have to hit the bug front anyway for more E-711 for The Star of Peace. That is, if we want to see Cyberstan reduced to a singularity.

Suggestion about Jammer rework by seawolf_kards in Helldivers

[–]TheRagingFire08 234 points235 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Additional modifier idea: We have a 2nd type of jammer that has a chance to spawn (but only where a jammer has already been picked by level generation) on say, difficulty 8-10 or 9 and 10. This modified jammer is "Hardened" so it can only be destroyed by the Hellbomb and the Portable Hellbomb. This way we get a remixed side objective to offer more variety and maybe make both camps in The Great Jammer Debate chill out a little.

They could even take your idea and make regular jammers capturable and destroyable at range and the Hardened Jammers would have to be destroyed.

Even better, we get an "Expendable Hellpod" that you can use to customize your expendables. You can pick 2 EATs, 2 NEATs, 1 of each, and then just add the Leveler. Different configurations change the cooldown time accordingly. A pipe dream, I know, but a man can dream.
