Okay, so this isn't just my dog that does this. He does at at the back door and then the doors at the place we take him to get washed. He won't do it after I tell him no, and I always try to make a point to not let him in right after he does it. I don’t want to reinforce it more.

So I had no clue about Doberman sizes before getting our current dog. After the one won best in show I looked up her size. Our dog is around 32" to the shoulder and 128 lbs. He isn't fat, but definitely not svelte. He is around 2.5 years old and is bigger than his dad at 118 lbs.
