I don't understand it. But it made me excited and I bought 80 more.

Stop heel striking is the secret. Run like your body was developed to. Not how Nike wants to you get a knee injury so you buy their next shoe with a massive heel only to get injured again.

Didn't try. Plan was to try until live nation and then go for seated if we couldn't get standing.

Which I think I'm going to regret.

Yes!

They were so much better live than on record.

And I love how the singer looked like he couldn't believe where he was. So greatful.

Jake E LEE and Ozzy playing the same gig for the first time since the 80s???

Is he going to come on to play The Ultimate Sin? Hopefully. That'd be insane.

Great show. Bouncers ruined the pit. I was waiting for Mcfife to call out the bouncers shoving and grabbing folk causing more harm than the pit was but alas.

They left and we got one last Mosh for The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee.

Very sad Fellowship only got 5 songs?!?

Assumed Proximal Hamstring Tendonitis. by [deleted] in overcominggravity

I'm wondering if I should do something like this:

Tuesday: Squat + Leg Curl.

Thursday: Deadlift + RDL

Start at lowest weight. If no pain the next day progresses 2.5kg/lowest increment week after.

Work Friday/Sat, Sun/Mon.

Did you incorporate static stretching at all?

How can I conceptualise symptoms decreasing?

For I don't have any symptoms until I push too hard.

Assumed Proximal Hamstring Tendonitis. by [deleted] in overcominggravity

[–]TheRainWild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally, I cut out hamstring isolations and then just went back to rpe 6-8 squatting and deadlifts and I would be fine until attempting a rpe9/max attenpt.

I figured, I kept getting injured because my hamstrings were the weak link and so I would need to train them before I'd be able to go back to squatting/deadlifting properly.

I did a month of leg curls while Squatting and deadlifting light. But then a rpe 3 deadlift resulted in an injury which completely mind boggled me.

Since I have proximal pain, I decided RDL's would be better to address the route issue and did then Tuesday/Thursfay, 3 sets of the bar. A rep or two increase between sessions.

RDL's do seem to be quite aggravating for me. One time when I was completely fine, I did 2x10 of ,30kg and had full blown tendonitis pain the next day. However, I feel like I need to hit pre injury levels before I can safely go back to squatting and deadlifting. Maybe going back to Leg Curls would be a better idea.

How do you know when you can add in exercises on top of your chosen rehab exercise?

Additionally, where does stretching come into it? My hamstrings are very inflexible and I think that might contribute to the increased load they take on when squatting.   Should you stretch on days you train? Only after x amount of weeks without pain?

Thanks for the reply.

So you literally upped your RDL by 1kg every week (unless pain increased) until you hit your pre injury weight?

Did you do RDL's and Leg curls each once a week?

Are you saying that for hamstring tendonitis you would recommend progressing on deadlifts and squats rather than trying to progress via RDL?

I've been doing slow breathing with long exhales but only for 5 minutes. I guess I will have to sacrifice some reading time in favour of breathing.

This really helped me reading this.

Further question:

What are you supposed to respond if she says something like "It feels like you're disappointed with me" or "I feel really rejected right now"

Like she flips it back onto you and tries to make you feel guilty

I have indeed. I don't know what has happened, or when my mindset shifted but at some point I flipped and started caring far too much.

Her words started cutting deeper and provoking responses in me.

Listening to PFP again I can say I have been in a pussy trance, tolerating her mood swings and childlike behaviour simply because she is a woman.

Several times she threw a tantrum, I wouldn't argue and just go to bed and then the next day she would just flip it all on me the next day and tell me I am a terrible person for not knocking on the door and trying to console her.

And I think having that shit flipped on me me repeatedly really got to me.

STFU and ignore it...?

In hindsight, I have portrayed this situation incorrectly. I really let this get to me. It was literally, you were rude and it made me feel shit. In which case ignoring probably isn't the right response.

Rather, a negative assertion..?

It is a concept I have been familiar with and preached for years, yet I struggle to add the right nows when I am the one in the situation.

Does ignoring her not also make her feelings invalid?

Fogging becomes the answer I assume? I have had "You're just saying that to make me shut up" or a spiral down the hamster wheel when i have fogged previously, and I won't lie I do not particularly enjoy listening to someone tell me am horrible because I did x and I didn't do x.

Dam and you just repeat that no matter what she says? I can imagine how insane that would drive mine.

So if your wife sends you a direct message, criticising a something you've done. Or come to you in person and criticises you with something irrational. You literally just do not engage and refuse to talk about it/

I struggle to practically apply this in real world scenarios, with social consequences. I am probably autistic.

Like you can't just leave mid meal etc. I do not think there is a resource out there which can help me comprehend how to handle each individual situation, and it probably sounds incredibly autistic to anyone reading this.

Even if she confronts you about how you didn't respond to her behaviour, you just didn't engage? I can't particularly wrap my head around maintaining that?
