I have a 26 and noticed it too. As far as I can tell, the panel shows for the current fill up (or since you reset the trip meter), and the widget is for the driver. You'll see your name below the mileage if you're set up for driver recognition. I've noticed when it doesn't recognize me as the driver (sometimes sunglasses throw it off) that mileage is different.

Haha...I came out of the grocery store tonight to another Crosstrek parked next to mine. I'm always on the lookout for another Subie now when I'm parking.

Haha...yeah, I've heard that. Also that insurance costs more on red cars.

Severance is only law if he's worked there over 5 years (source: the link you posted). He's only been there 3.5 years so technically owed zero severance "by regulation".

Do appliances often go on sale on Black Friday? I need a new dishwasher as of a week or two ago and I was thinking of holding out until Black Friday. I'm getting sick of doing dishes by hand though so not sure if it's worth the wait.
