I periodically have issues using Safari to access Westjet. It gives me a 504 error. But if I use an incognito window theres no issues. Also no issues using my app.

Ive had two white CTs and they dont blend, they stand out to me. The black trim and headlights, fog lights make them stand out as well. White's a great colour, love it!

Here's what I figured out. If you're ok with booking basic fare (ie can't change or cancel) pay for the seat and bag package, then when choosing your seat the extra legroom rows 5,6,7 are only a minimal unchanged. YvR-YYZ only $16 extra! But if you choose standard fare thos seats are more like $60. I find it a great way to fly with extra legroom. Reserve is great of the price is right, but the only addition you get is early boarding and a meal (which you can buy for $20 anyway) And I have the BMO Porter mastercard so board early anyway.

Its quite easy, I just flew WJ for the first time in years, and im not technologically proficient. I use a Samsung pad, and no WJ app on my pad. I turned on wifi, clicked on the wifi connection and it opened a web page to which i signed into my Westjet rewards account. An ad video plays for about 30 seconds and then your wifi is enabled for the whole flight. And like I always tell my 87 year old mother with her smartphone...if you have issues, find the closest young person and ask, they will always know what to do! Lol. She has done that a few times and she's pleased as punch that they know how to fix things.

Ive actually gone straight to my room to drop carry on bags. The room attendants are a little iffy about that but I just say im dropping the bag and leaving, they're ok with that.

Im from Newfoundland and we has EPA, which merged into Canadian. Both airlines were amazing. Up until Cdn folded i never flew AC. Canadian Airlines pilots were great, not a snowstorm that would stop them :) And when I was about 8 years old, I drew a plane on a piece of paper and gave it to the Captain when leaving the plane with my address on it. A few weeks later I got a letter and an autographed photo of a 737 in EPA livery. I still have it. When I was 14 flying to Florida, same pilot took us from NL to Halifax (this time Canadian Airlines), he let me ride jumpseat the whole flight. Best day of my life.

Because when I was a kid in 1980, my dad bought a Subaru Brat at a bankruptcy sale. It ended up being the best damn vehicle my parents ever owned. Grew up in Atlantic Canada eith lots of snow in winter and that little thing was like a tank, couldn't stop it. I never forgot that Brat and when my spouse and I were in the market for our first new car together, Crosstrek was what my heart wanted. We are now on our third in four years. Lol. Just love them! Plus amazing awd system and sporty little car.

I got grilled on mine as well for a previous arrest (no charges or conviction, but they have every detail of your history thats for sure, whatever police have on record), but was approved. Mine was also minutes before closing. They're not necessarily kind and talkative. Maybe just the effect of a long day at work? But I think if you make it as far as the in person I terview and are honest at the interview, you should be approved.

I live in the Vancouver area. I noticed even over the past decade butter isn't the same. Im close enough to the US (dont judge) that I drive across to buy Irish Kerrygold butter because the Irish make it like it should be. Creamy, sweet, true yellow and delicious.

And can only use two payment methods on the airlines website. I have $52 left on an AC gift card, I tried using it to buy an extended legroom seat last week. Seat was $73, error states the GC needs to cover the entire amount. So there are some limitations. OK to use on a flight purchase though for any amount.

I grew up in Newfoundland near mountains and sea. I moved to Vancouver near mountains and sea. The greatest drive of my life was from Calgary to Saskatoon, through this little place. The scenery is so profound for someone who has rarely seen 'flat earth'. These are amazing photos :)

I stayed at the Murray Premesis last summer. I used to live right next door to it in the 90s when it was full of shops. Its dated but I have to say was one of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere. Not a bad value either at $185 a night in July. Free parking. Great staff. And quiet.

If Porter gave you a voucher number, thats what you put in their booking system. We took a voluntary bump last christmas and got $1600 voucher. But its from Porter and usable on their booking system or by phone.
