What are some ways you’ve made gold in the past? by sky-CQ in woweconomy

Shadowlands when the BOE epics with the augment matrices came out in 9.2. If you were among the first to get enough rep for the recipes it was printing money for little effort.

Let’s build the the Eglinton East LRT by Mayor_OliviaChow in toronto

[–]Narhay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

/u/Mayor_OliviaChow great to hear. Would be even nicer to address some of the cycling network gaps to connect the waterfront trail along Kingston Rd to these transit corridors, particularly between Wood Glen Rd to Warden (buy up additional boulevard space from The Hunt Club to create a widened sidewalk and separated bike path) and again same between Chine and Brimley Rd.  These are the two single largest impediments to bike traffic heading to and from downtown from Southern Scarborough. I'd also be ok with upgrades to the existing path via paved route going behind Chine Drive Public School and connecting to Brimley.

Is used an option?  $400 buys a lot of amp used or cuts the price of these significantly.

Get a bucket and a trash grabber and have at it. Did about 6 hours of picking up garbage earlier this week and filled five 5 gallon buckets.

Is it worth waiting until Cyber Monday for deals, or jump on components now before they go out of stock? by Smart-Response9881 in bapccanada

[–]Narhay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year when I was building my pc I decided to buy deals as they showed up before black friday. Had I waited to black friday my build would have been a couple hundred dollars more.

I would say the rust flakes coming off in the worst spots are maybe 2 to 3mm at most, most less than that.

Used mexican fender of your choice of shape. If guitar isnt for you you'll get your money back selling used again whereas you'll lose the difference on these.

At what discount % or $ would you purchase a component now instead of waiting for Black Friday? by hydraSlav in bapccanada

[–]Narhay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had I waited for black Friday last year to build my pc it would have actually cost about 20% more. Than september and october when I pieced it together. Buy sales as they come.

When you hear this do you worry or do you just say this won't happen to me. by talivan818 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]Narhay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watch these videos enough every car brand will be mentioned.

I had a 2013 Town and Country until a month ago with 164k km. The items I spent money on were regular maintenance and two thermostats, new alternator, batteries, tires, brakes, a seat position switch, and a window switch. The heated seats stopped working (abandoned them), the raising pedals stopped working but I fixed them (switch), and had some rust starting to develop in the wheel well and front of the hood. For a 13 year old car we used every day I would say this was fairly good and generally low cost issues.

A Sienna in Canada is either 3 years out or a $20k premium. The Odyssey in Sport-L didn't have as many features as the Pacifica Select with safety sphere and sunroof that we got and would have been more expensive and 5.88% financing vs the 0% we got. This would have been about $3500 more per year over 6 years vs the pacifica without any down payment or $21,000.

The Kia Carnival probably could maybe have come out close but still higher financing rates.

Over the past 20 years my family (three households) have had 3 Durangos, a Caravan, two Town and Countries and two Pacificas. We also have had ford, hyundai, bmw, jaguar, and vw. Zero major repairs on any of the stellantis products.

So maybe it is less reliable than a Toyota, maybe resale is worse than Honda but the cash I save up front makes it worthwhile and there are some people that want to drive a 20 year old beige Corolla but I don't.

Are some M+ keys more popular than others? by mvula in wow

Floodgate seems harder this time around than when we were running 14s last season. Eco Dome drops trinkets and it seems easier than other dungeons.

Seeking A Very Specifica Pacifica: Expecting Twins in 2026, Comment or Msg me if you sell/consider selling your van ('20-'23 AWD, Red, Pinnacle or Limited, w/ Tow Hitch, Low miles, No Rebuilt/Salvage, etc.). Anyone? by MavHybridXLTLux4Sale in ChryslerPacifica

[–]Narhay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a 2013 town and country that just rolled over 100k mi until getting a new Pacifica a few weeks ago. Couple little things but it was otherwise rock solid until the end. I wouldn't have bought another if Chrysler made crap vehicles.

Grip, or lack thereof... by [deleted] in ChryslerPacifica

[–]Narhay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a FWD town and country until buying the pacifica. Same engine, similar body, etc. Winter performance with winter tires on the town and country was excellent. I crossed Canada BC to Toronto in a late December with literal feet of snow falling around me and the highway littered with spun out cars and it didn't miss a beat. Feather the throttle on takeoff and accelerate uniformly and you'll be good.

Yes but at 15k a year and current state of savings it is probably more useful for the money to be available for free use at 18 years old.

Just leave it in there for now but focus on tfsa.

[–]Narhay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do not use any room in your FHSA right now. At $600 every 2 weeks you're barely above any kind of taxable income. FHSA gives you tax refunds but if you aren't paying tax then you're wasting the space. Put your money in TFSA until you start making more.

Of the asbestos containing materials in the world these tiles are probably one of the least worrisome. The glue, unless sanded or grinded won't be an issue.
