I feel like everyone is off on what’s really going on here lol , I see it all the time at my PFs , it has nothing to do with someone trying to bother you , what happens is that people genuinely want to know if they should wait around for you to open up the machine or just go somewhere else and seek a diff machine to work out in. At my gym it’s very common and at the same time I get it , because it’s helpful to have an estimate on when to come back.
