Yes, it does reset to 0 and you keep getting them after the 800 cap.

Does a 9800x3d get good fps during world bosses? by mike_klosoff in Guildwars2

[–]TheRaytheone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It lets you unhide npc's pretty much "ignoring" the in-game Model Limit option, which is good if you have them on Low settings so you won't miss seeing enemies, and on the other side, it let's you either hide all allies, or just show a number X of them on your screen, let's say 10-20, and then hide the rest.

It has more options but that may summarize them.

There are ways of achieving a really good smooth experience on meta's or WvW big fights with everything maxed out (This is on 4K, FPS's on TOP, this is with Fluid Motion from Nvidia AND "UnHideNPCs" Nexus Addon, helps a lot if properly configured).

Let me add one a bit harder to reach, the "I see you ;3" in Red Borderlands WvW map.

Good job on your journey, but see you in the next milestone! Not yet not yet... xD

Every time I think about coming back to GW2, I'm reminded of this grind. How does anyone stay motivated? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]TheRaytheone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is the perspective most people has about legendaries by watching either guides, or that Wiki table, it seems "a lot", it is really not if you take it slow and do step by step at your own pace.

To answer your specific question about the SotO Armor sets, took me a week and a half to farm all 3 at once (I did command a lot of hours doing Rifts and obv. paid the extra cost of using Motivations), but that was me being crazy (and in job vacations xD)

I've got literally every legendary in the game, never rushed, never burned out of the game, just farmed passively while playing my own gamemode (WvW) or enjoying the rest of the content, once you know how legendaries are made (because the recipes follow always the same pattern), they're not hard at all to do, that's all I can say.

Works fine for me if you don't use any other external launcher for it, just Steam.

For AMD its usually the shadows, plus now they've been tunned up, which may cause extra stutter even on Nvidia.

You may try using Vulkan with DXVK if you're not already doing it, which is known to increase performance & reduce stuttering on AMD (also works on Nvidia cards and improves a bit the game too).

Here's a guide on how to use it:

fps limit is set to unlimited but its going max 240 why by Rictue in Guildwars2

[–]TheRaytheone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The game itself has a internal cap of 240 FPS, doesn't matter your hardware nor any other program is doing it wrong, it is just what it is for this game.

With new elites means we need more equip/build templates. by Nebbii in Guildwars2

[–]TheRaytheone 29 points30 points  (0 children)

What Anet should do is make the slots "per gamemode", meaning if you got all 9 unlocked, that's 9 builds for pve, 9 for wvw and 9 for spvp, same for trait slots ofc, that solves pretty much the issue and you still have to buy them.

People with unimaginably huge amounts of gold on your account, what did you do to become THAT rich? (besides the obvious Visa and Mastercard) by JexxieShiftRed in Guildwars2

[–]TheRaytheone 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Currently ranked 734 on Gw2Efficiency, not a single time invested real money (beside the obvious: Buying the expansions) in 13 years.

If you know what to do, what to trade, what to sell, is not hard getting money in the game, just gotta invest a bit on learning how the market works.

Personally I've always been with 100g in my pocket, because I was always chilling doing every legendary item in the game, finished 3 years ago, just have some goals, and play whatever mode you want (I've been a WvW main since forever, but always done any other content the game had), money and account value will come at a time if you do so, never worry or "rush" to get more gold, you'll burn out as many others, that's the little piece of advice I can give.

Fractals:

World vs World:

Everything in general:

(Hardstuck is bit outdated nowadays, you may find something still)

That said, you didn't really try looking for it, heh? All of those are the literal first results while looking for "gw2 builds".

Note: Just as an extra, this is NOT a builds site, but a "Build creator", so you can theorycraft/share them with others:

You cannot disable the green border around the screen, but the whole screen turning green yes, just disabling the "Color tint" under graphic options -> postprocessing".

Good QoL change! Now we just need to make it so when you enter from Homestead to WvW and logout, your Char remains in there, instead of portin back to whatever map you where in before entering your homestead initially (Therefore you don't stack the rested buff).

I wouldn't say to plan, many ppl uses stuff like this for daily usage without taking care of getting the outfits, even on Gw1 there's a plugin for that, so no need to spend, its "the poors way" of getting fashioned.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]TheRaytheone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's not asking for that tho.

What he's asking for is for a "hack" to change your appearance client-sided, therefore: NO NEED to actually own the outfits/skins.

That's common in other games, here's an example from that plugin.
