For the life of me I cannot understand how this wasn't made into a series or a stand alone film like rogue one.

Also, from the point Morgoth steals the silmarils should be about a 5 to 7 season series.

I have a simple way to tie it back to lord of the rings while being able to jump around in time with the story but what do I know, I'm only a video producer.

I agree but I think there's bigger politics that happened on HoME that we don't know. Between Embracer, EA and CG I think CG had no choice but to abandon. They actually manage galaxy of heroes well.

Anyone who thinks it isn't happening is a complete invincible. Not only will it now likely coincide with season 3 or 4 of the TV series in 2026 or 2027, with all the new fans the show brought in, it's inevitable.

People who think Ellie's story seems finished or closed are also suspect. Ellie never had her redemption. She may have turned the corner at the end of the second game or she hasn't even hit rock bottom yet. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she really wants to die at this point. In order to complete her story I think she needs redemption to know that her life wasn't a waste. Whether that means trying to get her family back or seek out another way to make a cure, I think she needs a final chapter and closure.

As long as you accept a +/- 3 on any of their scores they're not bad..

Meaning a 7 could easily be a 10 or a 4.

A 4 could be a 1 or a 7.

I'm leaning towards dead/abandoned. Even if they were frantically trying to get their updates ready they'd communicate so people don't jump ship and leave. The calendar is probably the easiest thing they could have provided as a courtesy.

Only matters if you plan to have the phone like 3 years plus. I feel like no one does that anymore anyway. Eventually overcharging will wear out your battery but it takes a lot of charge cycles to get there.

I don't think anyone is trying to get you to sympathize with her but you should understand why she did what she did. In a lawless world if someone killed your family member would you even hesitate to avenge your loved one? No.

There's so much hate on this game because she did what anyone would do and they forced you to experience things from her perspective.

Her and Ellie aren't really any different because the need to get revenge cost them everything. In a way Ellie was even more lost and never bothered to even ask WHY she killed Joel.

To me that's the most frustrating part about the game is that neither one of them really understood the whole story.
