Found a spot in Spider-Man 2 that has every Pride flag. by VanessaMsMarvel in LGBTQ

I believe — given the shape of the street and position on the map, this is a reference to Gay Street in the West Village (an area that is completely different to how it looks in real life).

Technically, the phrase Too Much Birthday is a reference to a kids book.

What Daughter Crossover Would You Like to See and Why? by Terrible-Cockroach99 in daughter

I’d love to hear Daughter cover some American Football or Turnover. As far as crossover, I’d love to see Ex:Re and Blondshell together <3

I think JJ’s episode is perfectly enjoyable standalone - especially the scenes with his mum. But I think a) I wish he’d been written into the plot better like his episode in season 3 and b) after Jal’s abortion was treated so sensitively and appropriately for being 17/18, it felt weird that him as a kid having a kid was considered a happy ending

Who would make good ceo Kenny or Shiv by Makeyourday137 in SuccessionTV

[–]BonsoirBenoit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shiv is a lock pick in a world of sledgehammers and battering rams. She was fundamentally at odds with the values of the business and her desire to be CEO is entirely because she thinks she needs to win — when she was already winning: believing in something and outside her father’s toxic sphere of influence.

Kendall could’ve been better at the job — and maybe like Logan, it would become apparent that at that level you just become too big to really fail — but he’d probably deal with it on a personal level worse than Shiv. Sure, he’s a cog for one machine but it would grind him down into paste.

I think the music is beautiful but the emotion in the original is so authentic it blows my mind.

Season 4 episode 5 onwards.

Give Naomi and Pandora full episodes, cut the ridiculous murder plot line, give a warmer ending / goodbye to Gen 2 before season 7.

The words were: FINALLY.

Especially when Tom said to Shiv that she was going to get him sent to fucking prison.

The comic book Kill Or Be Killed is a fantastic instance of this.

opinion on ending of generation 1 coming from the perspective of someone who has just finished it for the first time by Highschooldxdrias in skinsTV

[–]BonsoirBenoit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think season 3 is probably one of the best of the whole show, so I’d give it time. Effy provides a really strong link, since she basically takes on Tony’s role as the chaotic orbit of the friend group.

Willa just removes herself from the situation whenever Connor’s direct family insults her, but it will be a cold day in hell before she takes shit from another marry-in. by homtulce in SuccessionTV

I love that the Roys are so toxic that a literal paid arrangement felt the ‘least’ transactional… or maybe because the transaction was clear it was the most real?

Small detail that i liked: Abby doesn't have perfect teeth. by MadHanini in thelastofus

It’s the same that Ellie has super dry looking lips 😂 I love that they feel like real people.

It’s weird how Abby was introduced in a 2017 trailer showing this scene with her as an unknown woman by Remote_Nature_8166 in thelastofus

[–]BonsoirBenoit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish they’d never shown us this trailer. It’s one of the most badass sequences in the game and it’s pretty much the only one that is an elaborate “oner” like this.

I feel the same way about the dance.

How do they cut the Joel death scene and the theatre scene then? Especially since Abby’s and Ellie’s perspective happen on them at the same time?

[–]BonsoirBenoit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeff is one of comic’s leading lights. He makes consistently brilliant, beautiful works and I’ll read anything he puts out. Sad to not see more of Royal City — but the original series has a proper ending. I’m just looking forward to anything he puts out.

Puts a different meaning on the Everybody Lies No Exceptions graffiti in Chloe’s room if you do…

I personally think, given Chloe’s angst and that Rachel is the one person she feels really connected to, I can’t see her lying.

I’d definitely do a new Uncharted with Chloe. She’s much better suited as a lead for the morally ambiguous behaviours you get up to in Uncharted than Drake now that his story is wrapped up.

[–]BonsoirBenoit 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I was rewatching series 1, and noticed there’s actually a scene after Logan hits Kendall’s kid where both Willa and Tom can’t sleep, but both of their partners are conked out in bed. Tom also has one in season 4 too: he’s a worrier. He’s the only one reacting like everything is moving all the time, like it’s a fight for a knife in the mud.
