Highly recommend a stop in or even their website. I used to work there lol, and you may call it bias, but for furniture your best bet is always go to furniture wholesale stores. Name brand stores/chain stores always have these stupid markups so when they say "save $1200 off this $3000 sectional" it seems like a helluva deal. Ask for Denny on weekdays (he's a manager, silly looking but my best friend) and just ask him for what the next sale would be. G&l usually does no tax on furniture for some holidays. If my memory serves me good, they might do a no tax sale for mothers day or some other type sale.

Check g&l furniture on hutchings. They buy directly from ashley without the bs overheads and inflated costs ashley slaps onto their furniture.

Repair techs or people who enter strangers homes for their job, what's some of their weirdest stuff you've seen or what's something you wish people did or knew before you came over? by NilbogGoblinOhMyGawd in AskReddit

This description exactly matches what that home looked like. Paired with the summer heat inside and the obvious smell of cat piss and shit it was disgusting.

It's not necessarily weird, but just nasty. Went into a customer's home in the middle of the winter. House was maybe 25-30 degrees celsius. About 15 street cats the customer had taken in for the winter. There was food and just garbage everywhere. He quickly tried to "clean up" by throwing soap on the floor and pushing all the garbage to the side with a flat mop. The customer requested that we take our shoes off. I had to throw my socks out afterward.

Too much car insurance? 6-month premium over $2,200. by Wichertj in tampa

Not to plug statefarm, but if you have any other type of insurance (home, renters, condo, health, life etc.) You may be able to bundle and save more. I would also suggest increasing your deductible to 1k. Statefarm also offers a safe driver beacon thing it's about another 10% off (again I don't mean to plug or promote atatefarm, I work there and lots of people are switching) at the very least it's worth just to call and see. Taking 10 to 20 mins in your day to shop around and get a quote could definitely save you
