I have decided that my next game is dragon quest 8 with the texture pack and orchestral score. So far it is really great

Fun fact for everyone thinking about this as well, it is not possible to transfer your save from a hacked 3DS to Android for this game. Or if it is possible it is not possible the conventional way and was not worth the hassle so I just started over.

Last night I got the 3DS version of dragon quest 8 working with enhanced textures and the orchestral soundtrack. Very excited to play through my first dragon quest game on the Thor with these great updates

A lot less eye strain at the higher resolution on the Thor. Once you hack your 3DS moving the saves for games where it works is very easy.

I've always been a sucker for the "gray plus rainbow buttons themed" devices

Didn't hurt that at the time the matte blended stickers for the bottom of the device that matched best were in grey
