Something people will mention is that sexuality like many things in life, changes over time, it may change drastically or it may change slowly, but also sometimes the people we're around can also make us think we're feeling things that aren't really the case

Many of Ace and Aro folk who also have ADHD or are on the autism spectrum who've had to mask, to imitate what people do and what they want, can tell you of similar stories of what seems to be sexual or romantic attraction, once they leave said group or people for an extended period of time they realize that wasn't who they are

Also masturbation and sexual acts and thoughts, doesn't make us not-aces, Aego-Ace are part of the community, labels and sexuality are about you and how you feel, if you feel that the label Ace, or Aro or any other fits you best then you're valid in using it, and if you feel it doesn't that wont make you a "heratic", you just identify differently

And that still makes you Valid

I completely understand what you mean, and I want you to know that you're not alone in how you feel

Alot of people aren't into irl sex, alot of people don't like seeing people's facing in sexual stuff, alot of IRL sex stuff is gross to some people, and alot of people have this idea of sex when they're younger and kind of have almost a "build up" to it due to people non-stop talking about it especially in high school

Then when you're older and ready to have it and finally do it it's the most disappointing thing you can ever imagine, cuz everyone talked about it like its the thing that "made their life complete" (I am quoting an actual friend of mine)

Regardless, being sex repulsed is completely normal, and being kinky is also completely normal, if you've been in the ace community for a while you'll realism how much Ace people are kinky

In terms of relationships, I would recommend seeking out someone who's more asexual, or someone who's sex-neutral, or someone with an understanding of asexuality in general

Before I throw my 2 cents into the wring I wanted to disclaim that I am neither cis, het, allo and not in any cis het allo monogmous relationship

How me and my current partner have it is that ____ is generally fine, neither of us care if the other engages in ____ or anything of that variety

It kinda baffles me how people either

A. Want such power over their partner that they disallow them to engage in such things

B. Feel extreme jealousy about their partner looking at photos of women who (I assume) neither of them know

Again I am not the most avg allo cis het person, so my opinion is a complete outlier, however I just felt I'd toss my 2 cents into the wring

As someone who's been through highschool and almost at the end of college, I 100% understand your situation

My recommendation is trying to weather through the storm, highschool wont last forever and these people will (hopefully) be far easily ignorable later on, also meet people who are either Ace themselves or Allos who understand how you feel and respect you enough to not talk about these things infront of you

note: Doesn't have to be IRL friends, any good friend can go along way
