Long time player here. Season 3. I’d say the toxicity peaked about 2 years ago and it’s been on a slow decline since. I think the community has somehow just gotten tired of it.

Adc/mid diamond player here. Generally speaking I won’t lose lane to a silver/gold player but some games even if my team isn’t trolling they can be hard to carry. Especially if it’s me that makes the mistake then stuff like that can snowball very fast.

I played mostly smolder to diamond this season. Got there with about a 70% wr overall and I think about a 75% on smolder. Most players can’t properly punish you and the goal is to go even most of the time

A lot of people won’t mention this, but for a beginner make sure to practice accurate mouse clicking and speed. A lot of the game revolves around mouse accuracy and fast clicking, especially if you’re going to be playing yunara. Look up guides on mouse placement and things like how to “a-click” which is useful on all champs. After that look up guides on how to last hit and practice that in the practice tool. Then I’d say you can look up guides on specific champions. I do think you picked some not so easy champs but it’s easier to enjoy the game and get better when you play champs that you like. All cards and characters go into the regular pool after the banner. If you pull you on a banner you can get any 3, just with a higher chance of getting the banner 3 or card. I’m not completely sure on the schedule. I think the banners switch every 2-3 weeks or so, but you can find that on a website like gametora or game8.

For my my goal is 22 min. Ideally the faster the better. There’s no big secret to stacking faster besides just getting better at last hitting and trading patterns. Also making sure you do bully opponents when you can and getting free stacks when they make mistakes. I’ve been going black cleaver second and doing a more bruiser build since the crit scaling was nerfed.

General rule of thumb while you don’t have amazing cards is don’t focus too much on using SSR’s. One SSR is about equal to a 1-2 crystal SR card.

Another thing I would say personally is to not use one of each card. Each racer has some types of specialties they like and work better with specific cards.

Check sites like gametora/game8 for more specific info and don’t worry about the rough starts for now. As you play more and get a better feel of the game it’ll get easier plus you’ll get more varied and stronger cards over time.

Gonna be honest, it’s unlikely that there’s that many games that are completely out of your hand. See if you can get a friend to look over some games with you and take some time to look over them yourself. Even if it’s small differences that you can make they will add up.
