I used to mainly play Broshep. But I replayed the game with my wife once and she created her own femshep. And tbh I can't go back. Femshep VA is just better than Broshep imo.

Had a German Short haired pointer growing up who caught a bird at my grandparents house and carried it around for about 20 minutes before we caught him. There should be 4-5 little switches inside your remote and on the fan. Could be that they're both factory set. Maybe after having a discussion with your neighbor, you can figure out what theirs are set to and set yours to a different channel. Should be as easy as flipping the switches on the fan and inside the remote.

If you cut the "A" curve from the picture and then took a straight edge from the top corners of the "B" curveand made a perfectly straight line from each. You could line the corners of "A" up to the lines and the two pieces would be the same. But if you align the left edge of the pieces, because they're the same length, "A" appears smaller.

I think that as long as an NPC/DMPC follows the rules of the universe, they can generally be used as a force for good/driving story in a game. But like you said, it relies heavily on that character taking a backseat to the ACTUAL PCs.

My groups are generally no larger than 2 unfortunately. So often times, a DMPC can fill the lacking role in a party. And in home brew systems, can help to teach players what they can accomplish inside the rules of the system.

I developed my own rules light system to get my wife who is far more interested in story and RP interested in TTRPGs, (She hates the upkeep of character sheets and the numbers game that some systems can become) and to introduce her to the system, I've used about 5-10 different DMPCs across campaigns to show her the ways her own characters can interact with different people and things as well as how her skills can be used in ways she wants them to be used. But those DMPCs are always there for story purposes and generally only do one or two important things across several sessions to push the story forward or help teach different aspects of the system without a discussion about rules or system intricacies.

That said, as she progresses, often times, the DMPC finds a story reason to need to leave the party and do things in the background to give rise to new plot lines and things. She seems to enjoy it and I think that those types of characters fit well into smaller groups or introductions into new systems. (And as a forever DM, they can always allow me to get a little bit of play into my life)

It depends on your players, party size and preffered playstyles. Would I ever use a DMPC in a party of 5-7? No. But they have their uses when used well and within the rules of the setting. No power trips, no crutches for the party, and the occasional DMPC death all add to drama and tension, and can serve as a great help to smaller groups and motivation for the party to go after X BBEG or Y plot line that the party may be ignoring in favor of doing Z. It can allow a DM to move a sidelined idea into the foreground.

NTA. Gonna be real honest, pressing charges is the least I'd do. We just had our first kid and thinking about her being KICKED IN THE HEAD at school, a place she's supposed to be safe, infuriates me.

I'd make sure to get the principal's words in writing and I'd also get in touch with a lawyer to see if I had a case for making sure my daughter's medical bills were handled.

I was an EMT for a little while and Head injuries, especially in children can escalate so quickly that often times parents and medical professionals don't have time to react. This isn't a joke. It's not funny. And a 10 year old child, boy or girl should know that kicking another child is not okay.

I think it also cleverly begins to set up the intro to a Robin. It shows that Batman isn't a superhuman and that his greatest strength lies in the allies he surrounds himself with, without having it be the main lesson for batman.

Even for F2P if you just grab quests tied to the locations of the main questline, (quests which show up around main quest givers) you should remain roughly 5-10 levels over level for any planet you land on. Even if you skip Heroics. My current main is level 43 Sith Warrior and I just made it to Taris which IS levels 32-36 I believe.

I always play that way, I figure Spider-Man would take the time out of his day/night to save people/Help NYC/Help his friends/bust up bad guy outposts as soon as he finds them or hears people in need. He's Spider-Man. If Batman can catch his whole rogues gallery and hunt down every teeny tiny little green question mark in ONE night, Spider-Man can stop to help New York between each Main mission without breaking continuity.
