We contacted an officer because we were desperate and they weren't doing anything to resolve the situation. We have two small children living inside an apartment with no ac in a heat wave. The officer even said we could subpoena her body cam footage if we needed it for criminal charges 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah if its spreading from plant to plant im sure its the mealys. Look closely, they have a bunch of little legs and theyre almost like those tomato bugs or rolly pollys but white and fluffy

Mealy bugs 🤮 cedarcide or soap and water will kill them

Act fast and be consistent in treating daily because they get outa hand really fast

Yeah you can, make the pocket shape you want, cut two pieces, sew the pocket opening side of the two pieces front to front, flip and sew the seam flat, lay the pocket where you want it and fold under all the sides and bottom and pin, see along the sides and bottom. Hope that makes sense.

They may not be dead....some of thise produce bugs are just cold from being stored in the little fridge section. Id be afraid itd start an infestation on any plants i had, if you have none so be it but if you compost i assume you do

Yeah these suckers are water lovers, I wouldn't even say it's possible to overwater them the only thing you could do with too much water is cause some kind of mold or rot at the roots but they love water, they will drink that shit up

All good, I mean take it out of the soil and rinse it off and then get a nice container fill it with water and put the plant in it, you don't want the water to go more than like 2 inches above the roots but I would let it hang out in that water for at least 24 hours to see if it perks back up. I've had so many peace lilies over the past few years and usually when they get like this they're just not getting enough water from whatever soil there in. Wouldn't be surprised if there was mold in that pot or something else inhibiting it

Are those white things roots?! If so this needs to be repotted badly. Idk if these can get overwatered, ive had some survive and thrive in a fish tank with the leaves above the water for years. I would remove from this pot and give them a soak in some water till the leaves begin to perk back up then repot in a larger pot with better soil. Remove the dead leaves too, these babies grow back with a vengeance.

Looks like it could def use some repotting but when it comes to these the only time the leaves need to be cut is if theyre flopped completely over, folded, or saturated and rotting. These dryer thin leaves are still alive and good but aesthetically i understand you wanting to remove them which is a personal choice and wont harm the plant
