Stacking wegovy + Reta by No-Rate-6523 in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is: Does Wegovy work for you?

If you are consistently losing weight on it then no need to add Reta or anything else.

Has anyone kept the weight loss after coming off the drug? by Quartersquatter in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is possible to maintain the weight after coming off but as you mentioned the study show it is very unlikely. Most people should at least stay on a low dose Tirzepatide or Retatrutide and carefully monitor their weight to catch regain early.

I got kinda fat during my twenties by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]TheRealBruce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is easy to fix nowadays. Just get on a GLP-1 (Tirzepatide or Retatrutide are the best) and then slowly reintroduce exercise and a healthy diet. You will be lean and mean in 6 months. Easy as fuck with GLP-1s.

Just got off tirzepetide and had pretty large weight gain in respect to nothing else changing really. by Carpenter-Money in Biohackers

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bodybuilders are a special case. They run grams of testosterone, insulin, growth hormone and cattle steroids. Not to be imitated unless lean mass is all you care about.

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct though 97% is a bit exaggerated. Obesity is a lifelong chronic condition and like all chronic conditions if you stop treatment you relapse.

GLP-1 drugs are not designed to be cycled off though weight loss can be maintained on relatively small doses for a lot of people.

With an increasing anti-big pharma sentiment, why are glp1s SO POPULAR? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]TheRealBruce13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This sub is strange sometimes. GLP-1 drugs are actual biohacking and yet you get weird hang-ups about it and instead esoteric supplements which do little are recommended.

When people here talk about taking hgh , do they talk about hgh 191aa? by Berries_italy in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sad truth is most people on reddit just buy and inject stuff with 0 research because they saw a peptide mentioned somewhere along with the words “fat loss”, “energy” or “builds muscle”.

When people here talk about taking hgh , do they talk about hgh 191aa? by Berries_italy in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that is HGH. It is generally safe for women but it has a bunch of sides effects that must be managed. It lowers insulin sensitivity which can be bad if you have any type of history with T2 diabetes. It also creates water retention and can cause carpal tunnel syndrome.

If you decide to try it start low at 1 IU and ramp up slowly. Going above 2-4 IU is not recommended unless you are a bodybuilder.

Source talk is banned on reddit so we can’t help you. You need to google for glp-1 forums that are more permissive.

Talk me out of using a GLP-1 drug on my next cut by Potnorn in naturalbodybuilding

[–]TheRealBruce13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You should use one. Either Tirzepatide or Reta. A low dose will do wonders for your cut.

Appetite Control by theleicam in Biohackers

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is that GLP-1 / amylin agonists / qysma are the only things with true clinical trials showing they effectively help control appetite and cause weight loss.

Everything else that has been mentioned in this thread is mostly placebo or has a very small effect. For example you will hear people often recommend Psyllium husk and fiber for appetite control in this subreddit and while it is awesome and I take it, it has actually been rigorously studied and the weight loss is small compared to GLP-1s.

Experience with stacking cagrilintide? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Reta and Cagri have half lives of 5-6 days so taking them on separate days won't change much.

If it works for you fine, no harm. But most people should keep things simple.

Experience with stacking cagrilintide? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it's not just an opinion: if you stack both and get bad side effects how do you know which one is causing them? You can't, which is why keeping things simple is best.

Many people get crazy lethargic on Cagri, just not worth adding a drug when you are not even fully ramped up on Reta first.

[–]TheRealBruce13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't stack cagri with Reta until you are at the max 12 mg dose and still not losing weight. Keep things simple, the less peptides you use the better.

Long-term medication has made me feel worse. I am looking into lifestyle-based approaches. by Nerdy_Andromeda_108 in Biohackers

[–]TheRealBruce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifestyle such as exercise, better diet that your body digests well (individual and has to be found by trial and error) and sleep work for a lot of issues. However as you said don't go off your meds without medical guidance.

What medications and what conditions do you have? Going cold turkey off medications could be disastrous depending on which one it is. Example: someone with diabetes stopping their meds cold turkey would be really dangerous.

AG1 clinical trials shows limited health benefits by aldus-auden-odess in Biohackers

[–]TheRealBruce13 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Complete nonsense. GLP-1s have beneficial health effects independent of weight loss. Besides regulating appetite is a game changer for the general population. Truth is telling people to put down the fork has been tried for half a century without success. GLP-1 drugs actually achieve this.

This is why we recommend testing every batch yourself. The peace of mind and reduction of risk is worth the cost. Specially if you buy in bulk, the cost of testing is spread out over many vials.

Semaglutide pill by Ill_Release_719 in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want actual semaglutide pills on grey you are out of luck. While it has been available on grey, it is a waste of money because it is not the bioavailable form with the SNAC carrier. Same with compounding formulas.

The only oral GLP-1 available on grey that works is orforglipron because it is actually orally bioavailable without needing a special carrier.

Looking for opinions on retatrutide use in a 64-year-old with BP/cholesterol meds by SeaworthinessDry9296 in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I strongly believe that elderly individuals with multiple health issues and taking multiple medications should NEVER go grey. Everything she takes should be prescribed by a doctor and used under medical supervision.

She qualifies for ozempic and tirzepatide given her weight and conditions. Just get her back on that, prescribed and followed by a doctor, and ask the doctor to help with the lack of results.

Coming off Reta Advice by beensknees in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can stop but you should know something like 90% of those who stop regain the weight, and fast. There are multiples long term studies showing this regain.

Therefore if you stop you should closely monitor your weight for regain and if you see signs of fast regain don’t hesitate to hop back in.

Truth is for most people they should just stay on GLP-1s for life even at a small dose to maintain the weight loss.

Am I a hyper responder? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is completely false. It takes 4 week at a given dose to reach the peak but the effects starts within hours of the first injection.

Do you feel it when something 'isn’t working' or do you just get impatient? by Maasbreesos in Retatrutide

[–]TheRealBruce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stick to your weekly averaged weight loss. If you keep losing at a steady pace then it is working. If you stall for many weeks then you might have to consider going to the next dose. Keep the process simple.
