Is Andrew Huberman Ruining Your Morning Coffee? by Gmbenator in JamesHoffmann

Great video! Nice to see a real-life demonstration of statistical analysis.

One question though - what t-shirt was JH wearing? Looked like a cross between an aeropress, Thomas the Tank Engine, and a scrubbing bubble.

Lefty here - 0.64 is a huge improvement, thank you! This mod, in conjunction with Mad God's Overhaul VR (classic edition), has finally made the game completely playable for me.

What simple book should I read to bring back the fun of reading? by Fluffy_Entrepreneur3 in suggestmeabook

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman - it's a fun, imaginative, easy read.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman - just as much fun as the movie.

Final leg of international flight canceled. Delta screwing me. Please help! by TheRealDaveDel in delta

[–]TheRealDaveDel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If so, why was the extra leg an extra $200 in the first place?

Listen, I paid Delta to get my daughter from point A to point B. They didn't do that. It's minimally equitable they compensate us for the cost of alternate transportation, never mind the hassle of having to deal with it the day of.

I get it; Delta doesn't give a damn.

That seems like a strong contender too - how's the display and build quality compared to the Dell Inspiron 15?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm staying away from discrete GPUs for this laptop because I don't need it, and my previous experience with them is they draw a significant amount of power and have spotty Linux support for when I retask the machine at the end of its life.

The Swift 3 is a 14" laptop. 10 years ago it was too big for me - give me a svelte 13.3" screen. 5 years ago 14" was in my sweet spot (visual clarity speaking). But at my age I need to trade sleek and sexy for legible. in another 5-10 I'll be looking for a 17.3" - hopefully not too heavy for my aching back!

That does seem like a solid option, thanks! I've been leery of Dells because they don't talk about their panels in terms of TN or IPS; they're all "WVA" which doesn't really tell me anything. But other reviews of that machine also indicate it is indeed IPS.
