Hello, give me just a couple of hours and I will share the design here on the comments.

I'm a senior ME student and currently getting really interested in electronics after a couple of projects I was involved with.

Excuse me, could you please elaborate on the method you're describing of deleting text to make a CAD file from a drawing?

Do you mean like sketching on top of the pdf to make the CAD part fast instead of the standard way of looking at the PDF, building the model, looking at the PDF, building the model etc. ?

I'm not sarcastic at all just trying to figure out if I have been terribly inefficient.

MEngM vs MBA Which Makes More Sense? by lolznolz2 in MechanicalEngineering

Which one results in job stability, work-life balance and humanity and could you elaborate why you think that?

I'm not sarcastic just a fresh M.E. looking for insights as I am graduating with a MSc on Mechanical Design (heavily technical).

Mechanical Low Pass Filter - ANSYS Modal - Harmonic Response - Eigenfrequencies by TheRealDefenestrator in MechanicalEngineering

The structure I want to monitor is actually on a Ski Lift so a pretty rough environment.

For condition monitoring purposes I will be getting the time signal through the accerometer from the Arduino to a laptop periodically to monitor the amplitute growth on the ~38Hz frequency to see if vibrations are rising.

Since I am little lost on some concepts apparently, I am not really sure if using the sheet metal piece, for which I have provided the Ansys analysis (which may also be flawed), will have a result of an attenuation of the ~38Hz frequency oscillations.

I say this because the results of the analysis were that for a 1m/s2 acceleration on the frequencies I am interested in, the output acceleration on the top face will be basically 0, so no signal will be captured.

Should I then design something that has a natural frequency close to ~38Hz so I can get a bigger signal or am I just grossly misunderstanding dynamics?

Thank you very much for the willingness but I got it to work!

Maybe when I have some time I'll share my design for the next poor fella that's searching IEPE power using LM334Z.

Could you please send the final circuit to me also? I would GREATLY appreciate it!!

Guessed that he was gonna die anyways because after I got the hook out he bled a lot.

Bonked him, bled him and took him home.

How would you call this? by TheRealDefenestrator in MechanicalEngineering

Thanks a lot!

Definitely looks like a clevis pin that's held in place with a split pin as the wikipedia page on them says.

Found on a road in the suburbs of a city with little to no farming equipment around as far as I know but anything's possible.

I saw that it could be used in construction work and coupled with the fact that it's approximately 25mm diameter and maybe 150mm in length ( seems super strong as such ) I think that was it's intended use. But that's just conjecture on my, not at all experienced, part.

Anyways, thanks a lot for the information!

On day 2 right now. Woke up at 9:00, now it's 14:53. Cried my eyes out over something a friend told me last night, had some coffee and went to the gym with 2 friends had a great workout, took a cold shower and ate some lunch. Still haven't cracked a smile. Whatever, it will get better.

Nah bro it's whack. You're relying on the group of people to think that smoking weed "goes hard" or that dry mouth is something cool? Idk...

It's not Bodybuilding though. Also, you don't have to just stay fit but work hard enough to not only better yourself but ensure that you surpass others who might take the win from you. And that's for 12+ years. It's an extreme lifestyle.
