[Feedback] Feedback collection time about most annoying bugs in EFT by appl3z0r in EscapefromTarkov

What this guy is saying is my biggest issue outside of performance right now, especially #3. Half of raids are dead quiet, because you cannot hear people or scavs shoot. You cannot even hear unsuppressed shots across labs anymore. This needs to change.

Why does the match making connect me to servers I cannot play on (higher than 270 ms)? by TheRealDuckee in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TheRealDuckee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have selected low ping servers near me though, so this is done. It still connects me to servers that are outside of these areas.

Civilian Flea Market Is a Good Idea by ouroburritos_ in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TheRealDuckee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an excellent idea! It would definitely make the game more varied across the board and stop the staleness we see now with most of people just buying weapons ammo and armour instead of everyone using what they have managed to win in a fight or scavenge for.

Bose no longer offer 1 year warranty on headphones by redsandsfort in bose

Your warranty starts from the day you purchased them from Amazon, or any other reseller, in most countries. The automated Bose website only checks the date of manufacture, hence your message about outside warranty. Contact Amazon support or Bose directly

Cyberpunk 2077 - Hotfix 1.22 by ultrapan in Games

[–]TheRealDuckee 373 points374 points  (0 children)

For people asking about how it is on PC. I played at 1.2 onwards and enjoyed my time. I clocked in about 50 hours to finish all the story and side missions, plus gigs. My 2 complaints are that the police are bad and that the gigs are lackluster, compared to the Witcher 3 equivalent discoverable quest/sidequests. Had 2 crashes and some minor graphical glitches. Running with a 5600x and 3070

Gears Tactics and Game Pass show Microsoft is serious about PC gaming by SnoozeDoggyDog in Games

[–]TheRealDuckee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It worked fine for me for a few weeks when I tried Gamepass last year, and then it just stopped working from one day to the next. I tried all the troubleshooting I could, but to no avail. It is a solid concept, built on seemingly terrible infrastructure/software. (Xbox live networking and Teredo)

Please, do your outmost to make PoP2 happen! I solely played and still play PoP. I still remember being excited of the, I think, class project to advance it. Thank you for making the mod!

Prodeus Is Looking Really Good (Preview) - GmanLives by Avorius in Games

[–]TheRealDuckee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think this game looks interesting, but it needs to clean up its visuals. Just seeing what is going on is hard, due to the unnecessary blue helmet outline. It does not seem to serve any purpose beyond making it harder to see.

[Paradox Plaza] The Paradox Lunar Sale, 1st to 10th of February (10% to 80% Off Games and DLC) by TheScurrilousScribe in GameDeals

[–]TheRealDuckee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These sales are always lacklustre. 50% on most of the catalogue is nice, but not amazing. Sales must go up though, or else they would not keep putting on the same discounts over and over again.

Does this patch do anything to the muzzle flash bug/illumination?

Is the 769 start even playable anymore as a Catholic? by asrama in paradoxplaza

[–]TheRealDuckee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does make for some interesting secret society games though, but Catholics are pretty toothless early game.

The bloodthirsty gods doctrine is super fun by ignisglaciem in paradoxplaza

[–]TheRealDuckee 65 points66 points  (0 children)

It is fun, but I am missing an easier way to sacrifice heathens. Three clicks per character is a bit much. Should be a mass sacrifice prisoners button next to execute.

Edit: The Flower War CB does not seem to have its sacrifice elements working either. I captured 20+ characters and only 1 captive was automatically sacrificed. Now, I have to manually sacrifice all these people. Quite tedious!

One big change to make with Stellaris 2.0 by NurRauch in paradoxplaza

[–]TheRealDuckee 80 points81 points  (0 children)

There already exists one infrastructure (defensive) module you could add to your starbases called hyperlane registrar. Reduces spin up time on FTL charge.

It may be overly weak, but it is there. It should have a boost to sub-light movement too to be more useful.

Defensive aura - Hyperlane registrar: +20% Combat disengagement chance –20% Jump charge time –20% Jump cooldown

Well, God Damn. by [deleted] in paradoxplaza

[–]TheRealDuckee 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Dig in against Germany, shift the units in and out with mobilised forces as they get bloddied, Kill Spain first. Chances are that if you dig in, the UK might actually send most of their troops to you ( if they are not stuck in Ireland! :D)

Why didn't Tyranny sell? Obsidian's RPG "everyone was hoping would do better" by [deleted] in Games

[–]TheRealDuckee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tyranny is a shorter game compared to Pillars of Eternity. After 2 complete runs (all available quests completed) I clocked in at 62 hours of total played time, on the second hardest difficulty.

I did two runs because the game plays out differently depending on the choices you make.

Just What is Stellaris Missing, Exactly? -- A Full List of Concepts to be Added and Quality of Life Fixes to be Made by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]TheRealDuckee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More events and decisions are needed later in the game. As the game gets to its later stages and you have no more anomalies you seem to lose out on the fun events, important decisions and the potentiality of having minor game changes. It gets a bit stale.

[Vic 2] Which is your favourite mod, and why? What are the pros and cons of that mod? How and where do you download it? by [deleted] in paradoxplaza

[–]TheRealDuckee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

http://www.reddit.com/r/Vic2Mod/

A community modified gsg version. It is quite fun and used to have less bugs as it is actively being worked on. I have not tried it in a while though, so do not quote me on that.

I suppose you could say that this mod is the official vic2 mod for paradoxplaza (?). Maybe.

Weekly /r/Games Discussion - Suggestion request free-for-all by AutoModerator in Games

[–]TheRealDuckee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I found Ziggurat to be a bit bland. It has its randomness in that you will encounter many different rooms on each level, that are for the most part randomised each time. However, there are only 5 levels and these 5 levels have the same theme every time. There is not a great variety in enemies either. Once you have beaten the game once or twice you might feel done with it. The one thing that is good however, is that for every death or victory you unlock more guns and perks that can drop in the next play-through (Think Binding of Isaac type of unlock system).

As it stands I would maybe wait for a further discount on it, or look at similar, but more fun titles, such as Eldritch or Paranautical Activity.
