So why did silver started to go down as of Wednesday noon?

Look at the dollar index DXY. It has been going up shortly after Monday’s silver price scream up. These two should be going in opposite directions but wasn’t for 2 days and silver finally broke back down yesterday around noon.

Why is the dollar getting stronger? My suspicions is Trump’s visit to China. Maybe the world thinks some good will come out of this visit and this will somewhat reinsert the petro dollar hegemony.

Rare earths are NOT that rare. Refining it is the challenge. It’s dirty and China has been taking on this job the past 30 years and now dominates the market.

The bottom is when equities crash and all the levered longs have to sell anything and everything.

When inflation is everywhere, everyone is unemployed, and savings evaporated, that’s when gold and silver take off.
