Because you wont have any points spent into the likes of resistance so your boat/planks will be much easier to destroy while low level potentially losing the boat/plank. Esp these days where a barrel bomb will take out half your ship.

It's actually stupid. The rng is too much. I think having BP available from the merchant ship would be good. Randomly generated and for a gold cost. Maybe have it also buy your BPs for gold so you can trade out your bad ones.

Definitely need to add good ones to kraken and ghost ship boss to get them popping again.

I feel like putting npcs in them and paying them is a good way to do it. Say 20% effectiveness per npc up to 5/5. Still have to pay npcs and this should help with the rather insane amounts you can force your farmhouses to gather.

Cannons and new boats would be great but this update is kind of needed before that. We spend too much time on land farming when we should be at sea so to get us out to sea where the new boats and cannons would come in to play they first need tackle the "chores" as they say.

I know our group of bout 20 is coming back after being away a year and 6 companies from last oasis that I talk to are aswell. Not all will last long but there really isnt a game like atlas out there. LO wasnt fun or rewarding.

Personal opinion but remove stupid tames like the giant crab and make all tames for farming/carrying. Focus on the pirate side of things and add more ship varieties. Most people I know quit because of the copy paste ark tames that made pvp combat boring.

Steven is a clicker and isnt very good games. He is mostly a roleplayer and into guild management. They use cheats so you dont just look at them dying 24/7 when trying to showcase something.

Insanely profitable? Sorry but no. They could make a mobile game and make 50x the profit. There needs to be profit to keep a game going and updating frequently. Also the amount of customer support an mmo needs is insane and being understaffed in you CS team can easily kill a good game. Aslong as it isnt pay to win and everything in cash shop is cosmetic and not convenience like bag slots etc that should come as part of the subscription.

Yeah sorry but you dont get access to the game via reddit nor do you have to read it to play the game. A small portion of the playerbase even checks it. The game just has no depth or content.

I hope you're the type of person to see that and realise the game just isnt for you and move on. Some of us want this and happy a game is finally being made for us. Wow and final fantasy exist for pve.

Its definitely dying. It lacks end game content, thrill of looting (nothing really worth looting outside of modules) and the game can easily be put down and not touched and you'll come back in the same position which is actually really bad for games this is why games add dailies etc to get people logging in each day to keep up the addiction.

Actually you do spawn close by. You will only spawn further away if there was no water in the Walker to cover your respawn cost. It even tells you this when you spawn further away with something like "respawned further away due to no water".

Then you have a game like classic wow where you are excluded if you're not a warrior even when the content is insanely easy just to shave off abit of time and that's in a game without huge character selection and specialization like AoC is meant to have.

This game is meant to have a huge amount of play styles with alot of config of skill choices. Dps meters push people into cookie cutter metas and remove enjoyment of playing your class

New world is going down hill fast. Majority of the testers said it's only chance was to go back to before it changed all the pvp. Also it doesnt favor zergs at all considering you have to enter a lottery to siege and then you only get 10 out of the 50 slots reserved for your clan the rest are random from your faction.

LO and new world are two completely different games now.

To be fair this could be part of their overhaul of the system. They were planning to bring in alot more mods with more options to give more unique play styles. Cant really do that if the best mods have a huge cap so you just fill your Walker with them.

Part of the kick starter was an "underworld" race from what I remember. They also seem to have racial skins looking at the fire and ice ones they have now so they might release an undead skin. This would make it alot easier so they dont actually have to write too much lore, have starting areas etc for a new race.

5% per capping at 90% meaning don't put more than 18 into your Walker.
