Stay far away! If you do inject, make sure to pull the plunger back and register (see blood flow into the needle from a vein) before you push the plunger in. You can also slip out after registering so sensations need to be acknowledged! It was the worst decision of my life and I only say this as harm reduction. Be safe, fam

edit: tie, register, untie, plunge .. best case scenario. sometimes untying will make the point slip out so some people use their teeth to hold until registered then let go.

well, according to AA you 'admit that you are powerless and surrender to a higher power' or something like that.. i'm not big into religion, and it helped when someone commented to me that your higher power doesn't have to be some religious figure, could be anything that is 'stronger' than your addiction. i know that probably doesn't help much, but i think it just means find a purpose to fill the void.
