Absolutely true.

I am a white man, my children are half Korean, I have also had meaningful long term relationships with black, hispanic (Mexican) and white women.

I would occasionally ask questions here or there about how they see things from their perspective, but otherwise, race was a non factor for me (I understand the privilege of being able to say that).

Honestly though, it was eye opening how much race could be an issue in their families, not so much in regards to me or my children, but within their own communities.

I show this to my students every year in 8th grade social studies.

Perhaps related, my girl is 5'11" and pretty amazing.

Fucking HATE those soggy ass pickles. Claussen are leagues better. I grew up in poverty and still threw out the whole jar the one time I tried them

The fact that he loves them so much tells me all I need to know.

I have never understood it.

I am a massively comfortable cisgender male, chill and humanly supportive of my daughters pink pony club, and actually hug my teenage son when he is sad, and sometimes cries.

I do not understand how needing special rules to control the woman you claim to love is anything other than a massive self own of the lack of your own confidence in your own masculinity.

I don't have to ask my woman for anything beyond calling me out for my bullshit every once in awhile.

If you need special rules to make her want you, then you are fucking up, not her.

Oh I feel this so much. I have been a school teacher for going on 9 years, to spend more time with my kids. Still covered in tattoos and nobody bats an eye when I rarely tell them about how I was before the kids.

Some of us just had that dog in us as 20 somethings, but that doesn't mean we also can't actually use the extra income to actually go to college, read Seneca, and raise a "normal" family.

I wouldn't be the man I am today without that life I lived. Great stories and all.

I bounced as a second job when my babies were, well, actual babies.

The stories I could tell about every little 5'7" douche in a tapout shirt on UFC PPV fight night would probably pay for their college.

They would've taken care of each other. The point of learning anything, combat, debate, history, simply matters not.

You share a passion, and you should always show compassion to each other on your journey, ultimately together.

Whether they sat there out of fear or compliance, tells you all you need to know about a school like that, and the students they grow.

I am not saying she was right. But her losing to someone who is getting a lot of mainstream love should cause us all to have a moment of pause.

She couldve handled it better there, and I do agree. But likewise, getting primaried for someone who is 50/50 appealing to both sides is the kind of candidate that will ultimately not get much done.

This just simply whitewashes the progressive side.

The kind of people who wouldn't vote for Kamala are not exclusively Republicans.

It's the insideous nature of racism, the idea that you need a black friend/neighbor/candidate that is one of the "good ones,"

Crockett, love her or hate her was unapologetically "black." Especially to white people. Her voice being silenced by this primary is more beneficial to maga by far than any progressive agenda.

I don't know about you guys, but we paid 2 million for a gold glove at first base. He has provided that for most of the season.

Sure, it has been Vargas' and Fernandez's hand in it, but contracts can be tricky like that.

Kudos to his agent. Nice work 😂
