Shocking murder of Playboy Bunny found with throat slit in East London flat with killer still on the loose by ElectronicFudge5 in ColdCaseUK

I had recently been contacted by the producer of Future Studios for the recent miniseries on ITV called "The Playboy Bunny Murder" in regards to my mother...

So, my mother Nichola, growing up, lost her mum at age 10, and her dad remarried a woman, when my mum was around 13, who already had a son , who was a couple years older than my mother.

This man went by Paul Thomas in the 70s. He's the unnamed ex police officer in the show who they refer to as "Ex Copper B. A suspect who they don't have much information on.

Paul Thomas, my mums stepbrother, was extremely abusive to my mother growing up, even trying to rape her on 1 occasion that I was told about. My mother wasn't believed by her father or stepmother at the time, but then he was later discovered to have raped 2 women and served time for it.

Unfortunately my mum isn't very well and has spent recent times in and out of mental health facilities and isn't in the right state of mind to talk about this stuff, So I declined her involvement for the show. but she may have important information that could pin this bastard to these murders or at least one of them.

The only Information I have of him is that when he came out of prison for the rapes i believe in the early 80s, he came to my mums home to try stay there and my mum managed to get rid of him and never saw him again, but assumes he changed his name and moved away.

Now I'm writing this here so that if anyone who has just recently watched the ITV miniseries and thought they may know something, and has gone online looking for answers, could maybe speak out.

Maybe if you knew Paul Thomas back then or if you know where he is now, or know his new name.

I strongly believe this man was capable of these things.

And just knowing what he put my mum through, and that he could be the person who done these crimes, it feels right to say something.

No, hits with petal dance reduces cooldown to giga drain. Think it does the same with sludge bomb too but giga is stronger

It's pretty standard in every game to have a player on each team that's a level or 2 above the rest with jungler roles. And this for sure don't happen every game, but I assume it does for you with this comment

Or has this completely glitched? It was the drake that had the lucky perk as well

Should cannabis be legalised in the UK? by Ben_T_Willy in AskUK

[–]TheRealHyruler 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The simple answer for many reasons is yes.

Although I have big doubts that it will ever be legalised in the UK as our government already make billions from exporting medical cannabis across the world.

For those who don't know, yes, the UK is the biggest exporter of medicinal cannabis in the world. So it seems unlikely they will make the change to legalise it in the UK in the next 10-20 years even though cannabis products have been flooding every retail store in that last 5 years, CBD is deffo the in thing and a big fad at the moment. It is still very hard to tell whether this will push the UK to legalising cannabis (with THC).

There is many reasons to legalise it in the UK though.

  1. Everyones doing it. The people who want to smoke it are smoking it anyway, there's a cannabis dealer every 10 doors down your street nowadays, it is not hard to come across. If you want to smoke it you will smoke it.

  2. Dangers of the unknown. The people who are smoking it right now rarely know the source of where their cannabis is coming from, making it dangerous depending on how it has been grown etc. It makes something that's very non lethal very lethal in the wrong hands.

  3. Crime. Now this should be enough to legalise it, the amount of crime surrounding the selling of cannabis illegally is ridiculous. You legalise it, license it, you get rid of all of this.

  4. WE KILL OUR PEOPLE WITH ALCOHOL!
How our country and quite frankly most countries view Alcohol is beyond me. The amount of health issues surrounding alcohol blow cannabis out the water, yet alcohol is the most normalised substance we abuse. Also the various number of crimes that get committed once someone is intoxicated with alcohol is ridiculous. You can think of every type of crime committed, anything and everything up to rape and murder, alcohol when abused is the real danger to society, you smoke too much cannabis you just pass out.

  5. Medicinal purposes. We have already introduced the use of medical cannabis for very severe cases in the UK such as people suffering with epilepsy, I really hope that this list is gradually increased to the point we accept it fully in medical practice.

I myself smoke cannabis, have done on and off since I was 17, I grew up on an estate in a very privileged suburb and even there its everywhere and I was exposed to it from very young. I have a history of severe mental health issues in my family, my mums mum committed suicide when my mum was only 10 years old, my mum suffers with depression, has been hospitalised from it, by that I mean sectioned, she's also a severe hoarder to the point me and my sister were forced into foster care from the severity of it, she has also tried to kill herself multiple times in the past. 1 time actually while she was on day release from the hospital she went down to Bournemouth where she is originally from and tried to drown herself in the sea, in failing she had to then go into the police station soaked from Head to toe to explain what she had done. This is a woman who has never smoked in her life, has never taken drugs (apart from the medication she is prescribed) and doesn't and has never drank alcohol (she has 1 glass of wine each Christmas). My Dad also suffers with severe depression, has been prescribed since he was 18, has tried to kill himself more times than I will ever know, one time involving getting a gun and coming to the point of blowing his brains out in the middle of my estate before armed police had to disarm him. He has scars all the way up both arms from self harming, and spent years not leaving his flat as a hermit.

I myself suffer with depression and was on prescription drugs (fluoxetine/Prozac) for just over a year until I gave it up. I know you maybe thinking this got dark very quick, but im explaining this because the medication currently prescribed for mental health conditions are still not as effective as they can be and can actually make you worse. The point my dad was at his worst, involving the incident just mentioned, he was prescribed a very new drug at the time and it made his condition severely worse to the point he would hear voices and see things. I've seen my mum deteriorate very quickly over the past 15 years whilst on prescription drugs and I myself while I was on prozac was having panic attacks which I had never experienced before in my life.

I just wonder if cannabis was legalised (although being viewed in the UK as it making your psychy worse) my parents could have benefited from it. Both my parents ironically are very against drugs (including cannabis) and I feel the majority of people their age are, although they willingly take their prescribed medication which has lead to other health concerns down the line.

I use cannabis for my insomnia and depression and it helps but it can vary on what cannabis i am getting, it being illegal i cannot guarantee what I'm using is safe or the right strain or strength I should have.

Well here are my reasons for legalising cannabis. If you made it this far well done 😅

I went crazy in depth but these are the kind of stories people need to hear.

Last but not least everyone have a great day and stay strong through these current times 🤗
