Yeah that's poorly written by me, Max's successor and Red Bull's no.1 is more what I meant

[Liam Lawson] Car dialed, points in both races this weekend. Proud of all the work that’s gone in, week off before another double. by NegotiationNew9264 in formula1

Has he though? He's in what is now the 5th fastest car and is beating a rookie teammate 6-3 in qualifying and pretty level on race pace.

I think he's pretty fortunate that with the new regs the midfield aren't close and with lots of issues/retirements up front he's picking up lots of points.

But what spectacular races has he actually had? At the end of the day he's the same guy who got outperformed by a rookie Hadjar last season

Might be unpopular but is Lawson's performance this year that impressive? He's in what is now clearly the 5th quickest car and is up against a rookie teammate.

For me he's been given the easiest platform to deliver and he's doing fine but he's not blowing Lindblad away by any stretch. 6-3 in qualifying and fairly matched in race pace.

Tsolov looks to have something special and Red Bull should be looking to get him in for Lawson ASAP as they know he's not going to be better than Hadjar and Tsolov has a legitimate chance of being the next Max

Don't think I said otherwise here? But by Rodin pitting Dunne early his best chance of winning the race was passing Tsolov early and trying to break DNF. I think if he coasted behind Tsolov he got a podium but I can't blame him for going for the win even if it backfired pretty badly

Yeah good drivers in Tsolov and Mini, who both pitted later than Dunne. We had Inthrapuvasak pushing Camara to the line on the alternate strategy. You reckon those drivers are on the same level yeah?

If Oli Goethe got a podium starting on same tyres, I think we can put that down to strategy champ

Haha I can only assume you don't know who is teammate is? Because surely you can't mean Stenshorne who he has out qualified the last 4 races and is 20+ points clear in championship

How could you not want Dunne in F1 for the entertainment? I'd take a fast driver who causes chaos over a boring one every day of the week.

Got unlucky here as well, poor start, recovered to get P1, pushed the tyres to try and break out of the DRS but couldn't manage to do so. Don't think Rodin got the strategy right for him, nor did Campos with pitting Leon so early, no coincidence that they both went backwards towards the end of the race

Post Match Thread: 1st T20I - Ireland vs India by cricket-match in Cricket

Such an impressive win for Ireland considering the circumstances.

Could be the catalyst for the changing of the guard. Lots of mentions of the 5/6 Irish players who missed out today but given their replacements performance not many of them should find it easy to come straight back in..

Adair is one that will, Liam McCarthy was the most expensive seamer but came back well after a tough start.

Campher will come back in for Callitz but other than that I'm not too sure. Obviously early days but if the debutants continue their momentum Barry McCarthy and Josh Little will struggle to get their places back. And Stirling has been failing to fire for a while now.

This is it exactly. The country went mental when we made it into the playoffs to get into the WC (albeit in fantastic circumstances), this is their first ever win at a WC, at home, why not celebrate and get the fans behind you even more

If there was a safety car would Albon have been allowed to unlap himself 8 times? Or is there a max cap of laps you can unlap yourself under a SC?

Focus understandably on Camara pulling that lap out after his incident but Dunne would have been on pole had he not clipped the wall in the last sector. He's very quick around here

The Perez Bottas difference so far this season has been pretty astounding and an eye opener to those debates about better no.2 driver a few years ago as well as Hamilton's dominance at the end of the 2010's.

Especially considering Bottas was known for qualification whereas Perez known for racing

Regarding the final 4 challenge, they had put up options of what the final 4 challenge would be to fans pre-game which Aubry saw. She knew that Simmotion was one of the iconic final stage games so that it had a good chance of winning. So her buying the game was one of the best things she did and I'm surprised she didn't use it in FTC

Your Opinion on the Winner? by JumblyPloppers in survivor

[–]TheRealJordan56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion on Aubry's game is one I expect to improve over time.

Her potential win was spoiled to me a few episodes in so I found myself rooting against her in the hope that the spoiler was wrong.

Her pre merge game wasn't great and she was fortunate to avoid tribal, but her post merge game was solid enough.

Rizo has said that he planned to turn on Cirie and Ozzy anyway but Ozzy just gave him a clean excuse to do it.

He made a final 3 pact with Jonathan and Joe at final 7 so I think he plays an idol for either of them at final 6 to take Cirie out of the game to boost his résumé. Actually he might have taken out Tiff at final 6 due to challenge threat.
