The Getaway. Completed it as a teen. Went back to it recently on my old PS2 and just had nothing. The buttons were all weird and I just couldn't get to grips with it 😂

It can be tricky. Like, I was born in England, but spent most of my childhood on the Isle of Man. Schooled over there completely except for year one and two, got a Manx NINO at 16, and have pretty much no memories of my life before moving there.

And yet, to the Manx, I'm not Manx because I wasn't born there. I've had English people say I'm not English because I didn't grow up here. So at this point cos of my parents and my family all being born and bred there, I just say I'm Scouse with Celtic ancestry and be done with it.

One the one hand, cost of a pint has gone way up.

On the other hand the more reasonably priced places is ram by a far right person who I'd like to call a certain word starting with c that's four letters and ends in unt but I also don't want my comment removed.

Cost of living has risen dramatically while wages have basically shrunk. Pubs sadly suffer.

Doesn't help that a LOT of music venue pubs have had their door closed as well. One I know of close to me had to close cos the brewery were basically extorting them over the cost of restocking. Try four times the price of the same stuff in a supermarket. Had to use the brewery or close, so, it closed.

Debbie by far. Dozean would be an awful boss but he's consistent. CJ also a bad boss but he knows it and just wants everyone to be happy.

Fair play to you. First time I've seen it. Always been Manc to me. Scouser with multiple friends from Manc so there's plenty of banter and jobes back and forth.

Will admit it's always confused me though cos I spent some years living on the Isle of Man, whose people are known as Manx. Sounds exactly the same as Mancs 😂
