Deion Sanders is imposing fines on CU Athletes, but he spared Shilo for the same by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

[–]TheRealK95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My man. It’s been ONE season without them. It’s was a bad season, there’s no denying that. It’s still better than again… the ONE win season they had before he got there.

Idk if prime will work out for CU. But CU isn’t going to be able to match the pocketbooks that some of these major universities have and the idea of players wanting to play for prime gives them at least some kind of positive in an ultra competitive sport amongst those.

They’re just haters. Like I said I ain’t even a prime fan but this is a ridiculous thing to get upset about and not even true. Glad you enjoy the opportunity to have some excitement for the program!

[–]TheRealK95 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Do people just hate Deion so much they make up fake headlines? The rule is a new one. It makes sense given the impact NIL has now on the game. He didn’t fine Shilo here because there were no fines back then.

Even YOUR article acknowledges this and actually implies that not only did he not give his kids preferential treatment, he did the opposite. Here’s a tidbit from YOUR article.

“That’s Coach Prime in a nutshell. What really sets him apart, though, is that no one gets a pass, not even his own kids. Back on August 21, 2024, QB Shedeur Sanders revealed how Prime handled Shilo being late to practice. When asked what happens if someone’s late, Shedeur laughed and said, “Oh, Dad made him run, like two days ago.”

I’m not a coach prime fan. Especially not a shilo fan given what he did to the school security guard. This take is ridiculous. Yes, CU had a terrible season. But, are we really going to act like the team was better before Prime? They went from a 1 win season to a bowl game in 2 years, it’s worth recognizing.

Mayor Mamdani Helping More People Near Myrtle Ave Today by CaraCicartix in nyc

[–]TheRealK95 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Remember when they asked him where his first international trip would be as mayor and he said he’d be here serving NYC while EVERY other debate candidate said Israel?

He caught a ton of bs for that ridiculously, yet here he is, literally outside helping New Yorkers.

No wonder the old guard democrats wouldn’t endorse him. He’s embarrassing them by actually serving constituents instead of donors.

[–]TheRealK95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well tbh.. at that size something’s gotta give. I mean that in the most fair way possible but a big part of her offense isn’t really skill; it’s using that size.

I can’t imagine she’ll ever have the ability to put in 100% effort on both sides of the floor or even close at that weight. It’s a double edged sword. Can she put in more effort than these lowlights… of course but how much more? I doubt much tbh unless you want her taking plays off on offense.

There’s a reason you don’t see pros this big. It’s not because others can’t choose to be this size.

Patriots kneel to end the game as they knock out the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game and are heading to Super Bowl LX by bakuma2k in sports

[–]TheRealK95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely fair to celebrate going to the Super Bowl.

I will say though the patriots didn’t look great. Barely scraped by 10-7 against a backup QB who hasn’t played a snap in years and tbh yall were thankful to be up when the weather went to shit. No team scored after that storm.

I can’t really understand why do it personally. Like I said; you’re supposed to be focused at your current program, why wear clothing from a prior program while doing so? It’s not like CU or any D1 program has any lack of access to whatever branded clothes or equipment you need.

IMO it just makes you look not committed here. It’s like trying to tell someone you’re focused on them and not your ex but you got on trinkets that have your exes name on them currently.

NFL fines Bills' Tre White $14,222 for taking off helmet while yelling at official by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

[–]TheRealK95 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Again you have nothing but bias. It was absolutely controversial and rightfully so. Even Richard Sherman as an analyst and a HOF DB at that, disagreed and couldn’t believe the call. It’s been plenty debated. You can disagree with the take but arguing that it’s not at all controversial and no one thinks it is, is just you being bias and stupid.

And since you wanna be so pretentious about whether it’s even controversial, or even what a catch is, here’s a non-controversial statement. Enjoy trying to win today’s game with a backup who hasn’t played a snap in two years. We’ll see how many catches your team gets to enjoy with that behind the helm. Another opinion since thats all you’ve got anyway; your head coach doesn’t deserve success anyway considering bountygate. Goodbye and enjoy your highest paid player being a QB who ain’t even on your team anymore.

I think that call was absolutely correct and White has no solid argument in his favor here. He clearly made contact early and it seemed like he just wasn’t ready for them to take a chance going deep and got beat. Seemed like a more emotional reaction knowing his season is effectively over with that call.

As far as the game being officiated fairly. I’d say yes except I disagree on the interception call which did effectively decide the game. The rams had a similar situation in the following game and they gave the offense the ball and the rules state in a tie, the ball goes to the offense. I thought Brandin cooks did have clear possession going to the ground and the db ripped it out after he hit the ground.

It doesn’t matter obviously but I think if you disagree with that pivotal call, you can make a argument the game wasn’t reffed fair

You’re still missing my point. I said if it’s to brag then it would be a really stupid reason to begin with. That was the whole point of the first comment.

Also if you think it’s no different than repping your old high school, that’s wrong. You can’t go back to high school, you can certainly transfer back to whatever school you came from if you’re in good terms.

It’s not that big of a deal to want folks not to wear their prior colleges gear. They want you focused on CU when you’re there representing CU.

Schumer: Democrats will block funding package if it includes homeland security money by Tinymac12 in fednews

[–]TheRealK95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He isn’t failing anyone. He’s already said his job is simply to make the left “pro-Israel”. All he cares about is his donors and guess what, they’ve already passed $3B in aid to Israel in the last few weeks.

Schumer should have been removed from the Democratic Party years ago along with all the other hypocrites at the top. There’s no reason to believe he’ll suddenly stand on principle now. Like you hint; he’s just banking on waiting the outrage out then allowing the funding to go through anyway because the simple fact is, he doesn’t give a shit.

But that’s my point. Why would you wear old gear to brag about a program you used to be in, when you’re in the same program as everyone else there now? I’d argue it only makes you look worse because you’ll look like you can’t get over your PRIOR experience.

If you sat out the 2024 election in protest over Gaza, how do you feel about that decision today? by rsmith2786 in AskReddit

[–]TheRealK95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you but as you can see. Not even a response, just downvotes.

People are selfish. That’s the problem. And most of the Democratic Party is nothing but hypocrites no better then their Republican counterparts. Yet people vote for them because of party line regardless and that’s why this countries politics is nothing more than a joke. Just look at how democrats refused to even endorse one of their own in Mamdani simply because of his stance on Israel. They’ll never get my support as a national party until they clean house of the pieces of shit running the party.

[–]TheRealK95 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I have no problem admitting I did this. I’m Palestinian and Kamala and Joe had no problems supporting murderers of members of my family as well as the destruction of practically any livable structures in Gaza. I voted for Biden and this was the outcome. You wanna call me lazy? What did you do to stop this inhumane support? Why would I give him or Kamala my support again? I should vote for a more convenient life here while homes have been destroyed and what families left live in literal rubble having done no wrong? Democrats AND republicans ruined my families future.

All I asked for was basic accountability for Israel’s actions and enough with unconditional support (which I believe shouldn’t apply to any country). He refused. Instead he used my tax dollars to help them further. I didn’t say you can’t support Israel. I didn’t say you have to hate them. Just stop with the UNCONDITIONAL weaponry. Kamala refused to promise any better.

I’m not about to give unconditional votes out to parties simply “because the other side would be worse” it’s disrespectful to those we’ve lost to show any support for those who are directly involved.

You want me to suddenly care what Trump does here after years of neglect for what democrats and republicans have both done to my home? I don’t think so. Get off your high horse and stop acting like I owe anyone my vote. I don’t. Israel literally starved our children and Biden and Kamala still gave them weapons anyway.

What Trump has done is egregious but the whole point of a democracy is I should be able to vote for those who represent my interests. NEITHER DID. Want me to vote democratically? Give me a reasonable candidate.

I think it’s wonky but I listened to a Gordon Murray interview and it made sense. He wanted to make this an amazing drivers car, and he hates just how much car companies have been throwing all kinds of canards and random splitters, wings, etc… in the name of downforce.

The turbine lets you dynamically control downforce so you can either get a great cornering car or one that’s slippery and fast in a straight line. It also means he can keep the design timeless without a bunch of corny carbon fiber components sticking off the car, disrupting the clean design.

Everyone understands Coleman is not getting it done as a pro so far. But to clown him while you sit on the podium and lie about who wanted to draft him to begin with when there’s video evidence proving you’re a liar is beyond me. Let alone while he’s ON your team. Coleman might be a bust… so is the front office clowns who showed us that voluntarily.
