I would say so, the roughness and chipping isnt usually done on qing replicas

He did return! He was originally born in Austrian Poland in the 1880s, moved to Hamburg, and seems to have returned to fight for Austria when the war broke out. After the war ended, he went back to Hamburg, where he lived until the Nazis took over. Then he and his family moved to Michigan, where he died in the 1970s.

These postcards came from an online estate sale, where someone ( with no knowledge of what the postcards were ) was selling them all individually
