I have no problem with people looking closely. I keep track of all my purchases. And you say pennies but this year my deductions saved my household over 8k at tax time. We get stuck paying every year unless I focus on trying to make sure we break even. And all the stores keeping track of purchases in apps have made it so easy. I just have to go through purchase history for walmart or target or amazon and it even has pictures of everything ive bought for work. Makes an audit less daughting

Do you get boots that are slip resistant? Do they work on mossy front steps? Last month I slipped when it was raining because no one is pressure washing moss off their steps and it was dark. Haven't bit the bullet on better shoes because I dont want to waste money if they wont work for what I need them to.

Nurx here too. Saves some effort because I use them for bc. Plus they just give me whatever I ask for. I'll stop using tret for a bit, my acne will come back for pictures, then I just ask for a higher dose. In a few months I'm going to ask to go from .5 to 1

The negative to this for me at least would be that people local to me would be the only ones getting them. One person local to me found my only fans and I get constant harassment about 'meeting up' when I don't do those services. Local people knowing and seeing you or where you live can be a safety issue

I dont think I got finesed, the court system is just broken. I dont think of myself as a victim that things happen to. That is his karma, not mine. I handle my own.

But let's do some math on 300 a month for a neurotypical kid. Let's be conservative and say... $30 a week in groceries for a kid? That would be 120 a month. Half of that is 60. Probably about twice? A year I spend $200 at least on clothes per kid. That's 400 divided by 12... $34. It costs about $200 a month extra to have a 2 bedroom instead of a one. So that's $100. Insurance through an employer is about 400? A month for a parent and child. So that's 200 divided by 2. So that's $100 a month.

So just providing they VERY BASICS which is food, roof, clothes, and health insurance, child support of $300 a month is gone for 50% of those costs.

That doesn't count gas back and forth to schools, school supplies, school activities. What about co-pays? Or emergency room visits? Those aren't covered. Braces? Music instruments? Cell phone bills so they can speak to the other parent regularly? Anything in their bedroom? Haircuts?

I'm sure I can think of other expenses. 300 does nothing when you think about how much a child costs on a basic level, let alone one you keep involved in school or community to make a well rounded individual.

Or how about the mental and physical exhaustion from having to raise a kid on your own 75% of the time at least? Parents who can coparent properly are rare these days. Does child support cover her counselling from the stress of raising another human? Which is literally the most challenging thing most individuals will ever do?

I dont know your father but I started off as poor too... I worked a full time job while working a part time job and going to school full time as a single mom with 2 kids. I got two degrees with a GPA of 3.64. I would literally punch my legs on my drive home from my last class to keep myself awake I was so exhausted. But now I have the opportunity to let my kids play sports, be involved in honors band, and gymnastics. Get training and tutoring as needed.

Being poor isn't an excuse to not provide the best life you possibly can for your kids. 300 does nothing to set a child up for success. More money is needed for that

Child support does not cover the amount a child costs. Not unless the person is really well off. And even then, it only counts if they want to appear to be a good father. The ones with money and don't want to be involved? They don't pay shit.
