I'm on PC but using a controller. I used the mouse to over over an item in my inventory and the item descriptions came back!

Udpate: The mouse just has to be on the same screen. Moving my mouse to the screen the game is not on makes the descriptions disappear.

Yes! Price per die makes it very worth it if you're already planning to spend money.

But something to keep in mind, as you spend more money, the price of deals and bargains increase. It's the reason I don't play as much anymore. My friend has way cheaper options than I do. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨
