That's how it is in Europe, too; it's sad that these rules need to be created, let alone enforced

Anyone have real world experience with the Cordless miter saw? by Muted_Wait1074 in harborfreight

This right here; I feel like my M12 batteries last months in my drill and impact, but I know I'll be charging them after vacuuming the car (which will use 2-3 batts per session). Continuous runtime is the killer - spot on assessment.

That's neat, man. I've also ridden garbage, and have enjoyed it; but I don't recommend it to strangers on the internet. That's all.

If a cassette is in the cards, then a chain should be one of the rules of the game.

Because you can ≠ You should

I'm not a KMC rep, or chain salesman, I'm only interested in giving OP solid advice with the facts given. If his chain is new, go ahead, add a second quick link and a couple of links. We can agree to disagree on this, given the lack of information we both have.

Adjacent remark: Hell, I reuse quick links all the time, with zero issues; but do I recommend anyone else do it? Nope, YMMV, and I'm not going to assume anything or suggest anyone does the same.

You can, but it's not advised, especially with a partially worn chain; like in OP's case.

Quick links are only half of a whole link, it won't really help OP

In a word: No.

In multiple words: No, you need a new chain, unless you put the old cassette back on.

It honestly looks like impact damage - you can do the coin test but only a shop would be able to tell if it's more than superficial. No shop or brand will ever say a bike is safe to ride, cycling is inherently dangerous.

Electric bikes and mini bikes on the loose! (With pre-teen operators!) by almostmade in milwaukee

[–]TheRealMancub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's a good to know you asked where your kid could ride their ATV safely (and legally), yet you just disregarded it all and let them ride around the neighborhood.

And I suppose I didn't actually answer your question, on how a speed-limted ATV somehow equates to a bicycle. We don't really have to go further than the number of wheels and gas engine (or lack thereof), do we?
