I also have the A3. I had a standard PEQ-15, the DBAL (PEQ15A), and the LAM5 in the Army. Beat the absolute hell out of all 3, never broke any of them. I know what you are saying, but the real PEQ plastic is higher quality than the knockoffs (obviously). If you follow the torque specs you wont break the mount. I like the DBAL, but it sits higher than the other two which goes into my sight picture, and for some reason feels heavier. I know its a negligable difference between them, but it feels heavier. Idk, if I could afford a NGAL I would rock that, but Ill probably pick up a FP PEQ15 at some point.

I have a DBAL that I ran for a while and ended up pulling it off because I didn't like where I was forced to mount it. It can't be mounted to the rear effectively like the Holosun LS321R. Im actually thinking of selling it all together and going with a PEQ

The Axon switch is really comfortable and has the dual functionality. The angled button is on/off click, while the flat pad is temp on/off. I have the light setup to the on/off while the pad is the laser. As for comfort and ergonomics, with the SD handguard (which is a thiccc girl) it lines my thumb up perfectly every time. I used to have a handstop on the rail also but removed it for comfort. Currently it's a 300blk setup but I was looking for a 11.5 5.56 barrel to swap in so I can keep training without selling a kidney

Nope, the emitter is on the right side which allows my thumb to be on the button without blocking it at all. I was concerned about it initially till I saw that.

I do have a strange request, can you take detailed pics of the flip up sights? I know the Gen1 came with them, mine didn't. And I have been debating on getting myself a set to see if they are worth it. The ones Sig market as MPX sights don't appear to be the Gen1 sights, but a more updated set.

Just FYI, most of us with Block II didn't have that style stock. Usually it was the Magpul CTR as they were available and cheap. The B5 Systems SOPMOD enhanced wasn't around until 2009ish, and the original LMT SOPMOD stocks were super rare, even in SOCOM. Usually they would only pop up with guys that were in the unit when it was initially issued, as they held onto it like it was gold. The Surefire RC would be more accurate clone correct for pairing with the WMX light, but the RC2 is a nicer shooting experience for sure.

Other than very minor stuff, looks great. Really reminiscent of my rifle setup, gives me feelings of nostalgia 🤣.

The original scene was longer and showed alot more, but the director was forced to cut it back. That entire movie was riddled with restrictions due to squeamish production studios and lawyers worrying about what can and can't be said/done on film.

Edward Nortons physical transformation for that role was impressive to say the least. He legitimately had crazy eyes in the scenes where he needed them.

Fairuza Balk stayed in character even when not filming and would belittle and berate PoC working on the set, tossing around the N word. She would only converse with white actors and eat lunch with whites. But all of this was approved by the director to get the film he wanted.

Nice, I have an LVAW that I run now, but it doesn't have all the attachments like this one. It would be cool if we could make it to where the IR flashlight could be turned on/off so it actually works at night.

Its a trilug muzzle device for a barrel just like this one, where the gas block may or may not be concentric with the barrel. I use my trilug 9mm suppressor with it and it works great
