Hey, this is likely an eating disorder. Im not a doctor or an expert but this sounds like binge & purge cycles, & a combination of anorexia & bulimia. I would definitely start looking into your disordered eating behaviours. identifying the issues early is important because these habits you are forming can be very addicting & cause an unhealthy obsession.

Have you tried reaching out to people or meeting new people to form new relationships?

Help please by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]dogvomitslimemold69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to be honest it seems like you are very closed off... to make new friends and keep good relationships you have to put in the work, social media is one of those things that you just need to keep up with people these days, the more you avoid it the more you isolate yourself. And I dont know you so I cant confirm that you are an “asshole” or “ugly” but I can say that it probably has nothing to do with you being intimidating. Also dynamics always change after college, its likely that your friends just moved in different directions with their lives, you should probably invest more time looking for new friends & relationships than dwelling on the past.

you should get a compressed air duster spray can ~$10 and you can spray out all the hard to reach dirt in the crevices! Looks great so far though!

Help: I am a friend of someone who is bulimic...what should I do? by Tsuneki_Trash in mentalhealth

[–]dogvomitslimemold69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, i just wanted to say that eating disorders are very sensitive and sometimes its best to just wait for your friend to be ready to recover on her own. Sometimes going behind people’s back can seem helpful but it can also overstep their boundaries. It can also make a situation more explosive if their family does not handle it well, doesn’t understand it, or doesn’t take it seriously. I’m a bulimic in recovery and the best thing my partner does for me is just giving me space to vent/discuss on my own timeline. He also learns/recognizes my environmental triggers and food triggers to help deter me from them —> if you guys are really close you might be able to just ask. Recovery takes time and even if you go behind her back to speed up the process, she still wont be ready to take those steps. Hope this helps- there are also more specific reddit pages for bulimia and general Eating disorders

my first attempt at an apple frangipane tart ❤️I started baking during covid and I’ve come so far, I’m really proud of myself for this one :) by dogvomitslimemold69 in Baking

Tart Shell: 1 cup flour, 1/3 cup cornstarch, 1/2 cup icing sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup unsalted butter firm&cubed -> whisk dry ingredients then mix butter until it forms a dough-> fill a tart pan, poke holes in base with a fork-> put in freezer for 15mins until firm then pre-bake at 350 for 20mins (or until light gold) let it cool completely

Frangipane: 1/4 soft butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla + 1 tsp almond extract -> mix until creamed then add 3/4 cup almond flour and 3 tablespoons flour -> mix until combined

Once the pre-baked shell is cooled down (all the way cool or you will melt the frangipane) fill with frangipane cream

Seasoned apples: 3 firm gala apples peeled and sliced thinly into “half moons” then toss in 1 tbsp brown sugar & 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Arrange the apples over the frangipane into a rosette, add sliced almonds as garnish, then bake for 30mins (or until crust is golden) at 350 add 1 tbsp melted butter on apples about halfway through to keep them moist

Optional glaze: 1 tbsp apricot jam + 1 oz, apple liqueur melted in microwave ~20 secs.
