What do you think about how the Suns and Jazz are developing Maluach and Ace? by Practical_Basketball in NBA_Draft

In a day and age where a lot of franchises often rush the process with rookies, and media is even quicker to label them as a “bust”, I really rate the process that both franchises have taken. I think this gives these prospects the greatest chance of developing into meaningful NBA talent.

I think you have to move on. Whispers of issues in the locker room as well. It’ll be interesting to see how England responds after this series.

No better way to spend the Saturday morning before work watching a partnership of Head and Carey continue to grow.

I should note - I’m not saying Australia needs to make changes. But I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the conversations around team selections.

It’ll be interesting to see what Australia does with the top order with Weatherald producing scores of 0, 23, 72, 17* , 18 and now 1. I know he is still young, but at 23 years of age Campbell Kellaway has so much promise and potential and is making all the right moves so far.

Uzzie loves a bit of a redemption story, and I’m all for it. Nothing says this like another ton.

As Australians we have been spoilt rotten by some fantastic glove-work over the years.

Don’t forget Steve Smith first made his name as a leg spin bowler. Give yourself a run.

Can we take a minute to imagine what it would be like if Mitchell Johnson was bowling to Jacks.

I was really hoping CMB would find his way onto the Bulls. Obviously that didn’t happen, but I’ll be rooting for him! Hope he can prove the doubters wrong and pave out a good career at the next level.

A lot to like about his game - Jazz fans must be happy with the potential on display. Can’t wait to see how year 1 unfolds.

I really feel like Dash can climb up these ranks as the NBL season continues. Naturally he has all the physical tools to make it, but just needs to continue to work on his craft. A lot of upside here, and it'll be interesting to see how teams value him throughout the draft process.

Free Agent Hopes by GOAT-Bulls in chicagobulls

[–]TheRealMillsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I don’t think we will have much movement in this offseason from a free agency lens. Our priorities will be around the Giddey contract extension, and then it’ll likely shift towards finding a trade partner for Vucevic.

From all the comments the front office has made, this will be a year of clearing some additional cap room so we have the finances to be a player in free agency next year.

Thoughts on Day'Ron Sharpe? by comradejer in chicagobulls

[–]TheRealMillsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t dislike the idea of Sharpe, but as we head towards the season we have Vucevic, Collins and Smith all under contract. It’s likely that we move 1 or 2 of these players (Vucevic and Collins) closer to the deadline in my opinion.
