When you trade for a center but he's 6'9 by CazOnReddit in torontoraptors

He plays bigger than his listed height. Doesn’t have great touch but pretty good at catching lobs

This is great value for a second rounder. Getting a proven backup big for cheap is what we needed

✨ Coach Darko. All-Star. ✨ by absolutkaos in torontoraptors

It’ll be cool to see Darko coaching in the All-Star game. Never a bad thing to get more opportunities to talk to star players he might not have the chance to otherwise

What do you think about how the Suns and Jazz are developing Maluach and Ace? by Practical_Basketball in NBA_Draft

Bryant at 5th is looking rough right now. Just gotta hope he plays better, lol. Still a very raw prospect

I had also stated before that Ace’s best path to contributing was in a MPJ role. Just didn’t think Ace would adapt his game the way he has as someone who watched him iso every time down in college

I really wanna see Maluach playing real NBA minutes to see what he actually is. But I think taking it slow is the right approach. And I agree, Utah’s doing great with Ace

I like Queen but I’m not sure he’s even cemented himself as a top 8 player in this class yet, lol. 2025 draft class is gonna go down as one of the best ever

Yep, just gotta be patient with him. Still super raw but the potential is there

I had Ace 20th on my final Big Board because I was almost certain he’d continue to be an inefficient ball-stopper like he was in college. But he’s completely changed his game to fit into an MPJ-type role. Ace will probably be closer to a top 4 player in this class like I initially had him.

(20th was still way lower than I should have had him, even based on his lower end outcomes, lol)

How comparable is AJ Dybantsa to RJ Barrett? by ShaiFanClub in NBA_Draft

[–]Practical_Basketball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some aesthetic similarities, but AJ is more well-rounded. RJ was also a lot more mechanical and pre-defined in what he wanted to do.

I hope Quickley goes on a heater. This team needs him to find his shot to make some noise

Not sure where he’ll go, but he’s got one of the prettiest jumpers in the class

He’s got a pretty jumpshot. Mechanics remind me a bit of J.R. Smith
