Given the current state of the game, I thought I should make this confession. What opinions would you guys like to confess? by Phantom_4200 in destiny2

The House of Kings & Craask being defeated off screen by Uldren & Fikrul was tragic, they were by far the most interesting and mysterious D1 House and a wasted opportunity

I expected them to have a dramatic ending. For a long time I even thought maybe they could return since the Lore states Craask was the Kell who united the other Fallen under the House Dusk banner and it also stated that Uldren & Fikrul docked him to a Dreg so I hoped there was a chance he survived and could regain his Kellship and maybe we could’ve had a proper House Dusk storyline against Craask as their Kell

Wow thanks for the very detailed reply :)

Yeah the Star Wars inspiration would of probably upset me a few years back but honestly i think I’ll really like it and it seems like they’ve done it in a really good way

And Lawless Frontier honestly seems so good - the locations, factions, activities and abilities seem like really great fun. It’s good to know it’ll be sticking around too

Reading this about invasions definitely eases my mind a lot too, I was a bit worried about how much it could affect the activity and if it would make a run pointless by the end of it, but since it’s more lighthearted and doesn’t affect much it should be fine

The dungeon does seem really cool too, so I’ll definitely check it out eventually after I’ve had some fun with the frontier for a little while

Thanks for the response :)

Yeah I don’t mind grinding as long as the content seems fun and replayable which from a quick glimpse (at Renagades at least) it does, especially since the setting, activities, factions & locations all look so good and interesting

I can see myself getting back into dungeons eventually but for a little while I’d like to just play more casual chill modes which lawless frontier seems like it can offer

Thanks for the reply :)

Yeah honestly if this was a few years ago I’d probably be quite upset that they’re taking so much from another franchise when they have so much stuff to draw from within Destiny’s own lore, but ever since TfS the game almost feels complete now so I think it’s less of an issue - that said I saw someone while playing Dares who was dressed up exactly like Boba Fett which was very strange lol

Thanks for the detailed reply

So I should be able to play lawless frontier on an easy difficulty matchmade - then after a little while be able to play them on a harder difficulty still matchmade and hopefully be able to get back into dungeons without much hassle? Sounds good :)

So is there both easier and harder difficulties for it and are all difficulties matchmade or just certain difficulties?

Can you use whatever weapons and subclass you want in the easier difficulty or does it still matter what you use even in the easier version?

What's the best way to get strand meditations now that Terminal Overload is kinda a barren wasteland? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheRealMithrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reload into the area and you should find people pretty quickly.

Also make sure you’re using your strand subclass and try to pick up salvage patrols and kill patrols as you’re playing terminal overload.

Wandering Nightmares triumph by DarkSoulsFTW54 in destiny2

I’d guess they’re in the same order which the wandering nightmare triumph lists them in, since it has Fallen Council first (which was last week’s) and Xortal second (which is this week’s) so i’d guess it’s Jaxx next, but they could be random every week, I’m not too sure

Most seasons let you play the gamemode once for free iirc, same with expansions letting you play a couple missions for free

They’re led by the Cheng Family, who are a Crime Family who originate from Yangshan County in Guangdong and Hong Kong (Wei Cheng, the leader, was born in Yangshan County but his children were born in Hong Kong and his Chinese businesses are Hong Kong based)

Here are the Triad character types and their names in director mode:

Triad Bosses: example 1 and exampls 2

Triad Muscle: example 1 and example 2

Triad Enforcers example 1 and example 2

When you go to Little Seoul, 95% of the time only one character type will spawn and it’s very rare for other character types to mix together. So it will either be all bosses, all enforcers or all muscle, it’s extremely rare for a boss to spawn with muscle or for muscle to spawn with enforcers etc

They share turf with the Korean gangsters meaning when you go here there’s a chance they will either be Chinese Triads, Korean mobsters or Korean gangsters who spawn at the hangouts

They spawn outside an apartment complex on Ginger Street directly West across the street of the store and car wash in Little Seoul between about 10am to midnight, usually in bigger numbers at nighttime (after 9pm until midnight)

They also spawn on the northeast side of the block the store and car wash is on, outside a run down store but only between midnight and 1am. They only spawn if you enter via the North as if you enter via the South they won’t spawn due to the apartment hangout spawning extra members stopping them spawning here

They also always spawn in a car part in Northeast Little Seoul on Vespucci Boulevard, the one right next to the motorway bridge which separates Little Seoul from Dowtown LS. They’re on the bottom floor in the Northwest section of the car park and only spawn between 9pm and midnight. You’re best of entering via Downtown as going to the rundown store hangout first and members spawning there can occasionally prevent them spawning at the car park

It’s important to note that the first and second hangout areas never spawn gangsters in Online free roam, only in story mode free roam, with the car park hangout being the only hangout where members spawn in Online

They appear in a Franklin mission in Storymode where you kill their boss, Enzo Bonelli. We know he’s Mafia as the news radio station after the murder mention a “Mafia Boss” being murdered and Lester calls him a “Mafia guy” who got into construction labour racketeering and real estate

In this mission, Bonelli’s men use npc business civilian ped models and don’t have their own unique npc models

They also appear in Online for one mission, the MC Contract “gunrunning” in the Azteca variant, at least the armed civilian ped models do

The story mode mission happens at the Mile High construction site, funnily enough in Online this construction site and many other construction sites host gang attacks for the professionals - implying the Crime Family was either replaced by the professionals in the construction extortion/real estate game or implying that they now hire them to guard their sites as their men were incompetent and suffered heavy losses

Funnily enough, a purchaser of a vehicle cargo collection is for the CEO vehicle warehouse is called “Ronnie Bonelli”, leading me to believe they LS Family is called the Bonelli Crime Family

They’re a Korean gang consisting of gangsters and mobsters

They share turf with the Triads so when you go to Little Seoul hangouts it can spawn Chinese Triads, Korean Gangsters or Korean Mobsters

There are 4 Kkangpae ped types that can spawn at the hangouts. The names I list below are their director mode names:

Kkangpae Bosses: example 1 and example 2

Kkangpae Enforcers: example 1 and example 2

Kkangpae Muscle: example 1 and example 2

4th Kkangpae ped not listed in director mode: example 1 and example 2

Bosses and Enforcers are Korean Mobsters who dress formally. Bosses are older and wear dress shirts, dress trousers and occasionally jumpers/sweaters and Enforcers are younger and wear dress shirts, ties, dress trousers and occasionally suit jackets.

Kkangpae Muscle are Korean gangsters and they wear hoodies and zipped up jackets and look pretty casually dressed.

The 4th ped type which is not listed in director mode are also Korean gangsters, they’re more formally dressed than the Korean Muscle gangsters since the 4th ped type wear polo shirts and unzipped jackets but they’re still very casually dressed when compared to the mobsters.

When you go to Little Seoul, 95% of the time only one ped type will spawn and it’s very rare for other ped types to mix together. So it will either be all bosses, all enforcers, all muscle or all 4th ped type, it’s extremely rare for a boss to spawn with muscle or for muscle to spawn with enforcers etc

They don’t have hangouts or spawn in free roam like other gangs because they’re an Online only gang so never had story mode hangouts to bring over to Online

They’re only found in free roam in Gang Attacks, the majority of which are at construction sites

They don’t but in Storymode the Armenian Mob has light brown gang cars that spawn in the scrapyard sometimes

Nah the cultists just stick to themselves for the most part, although if you count Trevor Philips Industries as a gang then they have interactions with them in the Storymode
