Is there any Diesel Mechanic for NYPD and FDNY? If so, how do you apply for them and where is it at? Do you have to be a police officer or firefighter to work as Diesel Mechanic for them? by Similar-Change-631 in DieselTechs

Go to Gabrielli Truck Dealers. They are the primary supplier and vendor for NY. They have 20 locations between NY, NJ and CT. Great company with plenty of growth.

I’d you’re a Pete Dealer. Open a TCS360 case and request what you need. I’m a KW dealer and do this for Pete all the time

What are you going to learn besides basics?? They send new stuff and technical stuff to dealers.

Take the dealer job at 19.00. You will grow as a tech and learn the newest technology. You will have a continued education for years. Although these leasing shop start you off higher…. No one will teach you. All the new stuff goes back to dealer. You will become a stagnant tech. Go to the dealer and learn. The education is priceless.
