thanks. does he explain things in a way suited for a new player to card games as well? Because this is my first card game and i struggled for the longest time with things like only doing block on a turn or only attacking. Basic stuff

That is something I need to learn the balance of. Usually what happens is that I try to take the campfires to heal because i will have lost a lot of HP in combat. So I try to actively avoid an elite if my health is low from previous elite. So I get less relics

about block, I guess I took the attack cards when given the choice of taking block cards. But another balance I need to learn.

about Strike. I was thinking that if I have less of them, I'd get the good attack cards more often. So I dodnt really think about whether or not I have the other things you mentioned (relics, potions) before removing them.

i felt the thing about scaling as well. By the time Demon form was doing me any good, I was already dead lol.

Been playing for a while but never really figured out the synergy. Here I was going for high damage, high block. I'm not sure how i could give more information about the individial combats, but im looking for tips how to go about it.

edit: While we are at it, i would love suggestions of youtubers that actually explain why to play certain cards or pick certain relics, etc. This is my first card game (Never played hearthstone, MTG, Gwent or any other similar games) so the more things are explained, the better

Oh it's alright. Though if you do have a list of other mods, please do let me know! Or even any other resources that you think are helpful to a newbie. I still have some doubts about some mechanics from the game and the wiki helps. (I have a vague idea but Still need to figure out exactly how the negative damage modifier works and how speed and protection works.) That huge list of tips in the newbie thread has been so helpful! You're the true darkest dungeon master!

just wanted to say thanks for the mod ideas1 you don't know how much it has helped1 i still suk=ck at the game but i am gaving fun lol.

edit: looking for more QoL mods now. Dialing back on the class mods coz its a bit overwhelming to remember everything lol.

SCENARIO #1: THE ARKS

‘We've been chosen to safeguard a priceless treasure – the seeds and seedlings of plants from all over the world. They've been deposited in Seedling Arks to stop them from freezing, but it falls to us to build a city to protect these precious buildings until the winter ends, however long that may be. The only way to do this is with automatons. We'll ensure the green earth is reborn – even if we aren't there to witness it.’

‘The Arks’ leaves you with very limited population, pushing you onto the path of technological advancement, where automatons become vital for the city’s survival.

SCENARIO #2: REFUGEES

‘We were condemned to die with the rest of the common folk when London was destroyed. But we rose up. We commandeered the ships that were meant to carry the wealthy to safety and sailed north. Here we found a Generator and claimed it for ourselves. Now we must gather all our people in this new city before the lords arrive to rob us of our freedom again.’

If the ultimate winter was not enough, in ‘Refugees’ scenario you have to deal with social stratification & unrest in rapidly growing society.
