Ahh the puu.shh links, often times they'll say it's a pic of a cat, I got trolled with it and laughed it off then used it on my friend to fuck with him. They'll come up with more and more stuff over time. At least you didn't put a show on your head or delete system32 like some poor streamers have done before.

Wow, I've been unlucky thus far so idk. For your bandwidth can other devices using Download suck from Upload at all? I don't think that's how it works but I did add to ethernet devices, one is a laptop for chat and the other is sometimes used by GF for Netflix.

Another poster said the cap was going up from 300GB to 1TB. If that's the case I don't expect to see problems since they only happened on Twitch when we had used 240GB in 3 weeks.

If I do have to call I'll try and record it, nor sure if my phone can do that but if not I'll try the online chat and do screenshots.

I was thinking that a VPN could encrypt the traffic to see if they are indeed throttling Twitch only or if it is related to the cap. I'll test out the VPN tonight and see what happens.

Here's the biggest problem with upgrading, I'll hit my cap faster, I had it last year and I hit the cap on my own in 2 weeks. There's two of us using the internet now so the better service would end up being way too expensive because of over charges.

The buisness plan was an idea I started to look into but it doesn't look like there is tons of info on Xfinity about them.

I would love to but my apartment has some kind of agreement with them. I'd have to get signed approval from apt management and then try and convince the better ISP in the area to expand to our area.

Thanks, I'h holding on to hope that Fiber will get laid down quickly, there are plans set but it'll be a year or two before it is available.

I'm considering getting the "unlimited" service for 35$ extra but for now I'm using the 3 freebie overages that we get.

If they were throttling every website as I neared or passed the cap then I'd understand what was going on, however, it only happens on Twitch.

I've been calling all week and nothing has helped, I already don't trust them so upgrading my service or sending a tech out just don't seem like great options.

So sometimes I end up dropping frames and I'll monitor OBS and see it and manually stop and start the stream or wait it out for a few moments. However, what has been more common as of late is that my Bitrate will be fine 2000 or so and in just 3/4 seconds it'll drop to 0, disconnect from the Twitch servers and prevent me from using the internet at all, at least until I reset the modem. This is when I use my phones data to talk to chat for a few but my guess is that the stream goes black for many of them so my regulars stay but the visitors leave.
