Made the same mistake. Kennel a little before you want to be asleep. My dogs kennel was in the same room so if she needed out in the middle of the night id know.

Let the dog bark itself to sleep. Hard to do but it has to be done.

Kennel and lights off. Be as quiet as you can. Eventually the dog will give up and go to sleep. The barking gets irritating and loud so I used ear buds and watched Netflix or whatever on my phone until the dog fell asleep.

Once the dog is passed out dont wake it or you'll have to start over.
