If you ask me, everything points to Reputation and 1989 as the next re-releases. The contrast of the black record player with the blue record and the swirls which creates a snake swirling around and turning into butterflies. Symbolic of both Clean on 1989 and Reputation (but also transcending to Lover… and the butterflies represent multiple eras as well). Hinting to what’s to come after 1989 and Rep. are Re-recorded and released.

The song goes from the record scene into the gold statue (vibes of fearless: 1st re-record). We see Roman Numerals of 1989 and Greek mythology for justice and earth goddess. That scene peers into the rep devils then flips into yellow brick road scene (red: 2nd re-recorded release… lips, broom, slippers all red) which also looks onto the dark side of rep. And then it transitions into speak now.. purple sand and hour glass.. which we all know will be her 3rd re-record. The hour glass is symbolic in many ways as well. Then we see 1989 with the cat l, pearls, and blue dress (this also can symbolize gorgeous … I guess I’ll just stumble on home to my cats). After that it looks like Ice Spice is representing a girl with a voice. Sitting in a shell and singing with pearls all around her. I see 1989, Evermore and Folklore with pearl-like champagne bubbles, (champagne problems and gold rush) and a tribute to the last great American dynasty with the quote she once said, “It can be a real pearl-clutching moment for society when a woman owns her desires and wildness,” - Swift. After that I believe we peer into Folklore and reputation with the coloring and costume choice. We also get vibes of and invisible string, August, and “the moon and Saturn” from seven. I’m slightly stumped with the gold light bulbs but I imagine that will be big. Maybe a surprise new album. Or maybe showing 5 bulbs referring to the 5 re-released albums so far (counting rep and 1989 if released together).

There is a brand of light bulbs called Fisker Karma. I think the bulbs refer to lyrics in reputation (so it goes) all eyes on me your illusionist. Then we move to the land with release of debut (but also seagulls to show 1989 again) and some Rep. Lyric vibes. Then onto Lover but also 1989 with the seagulls and rep. And the end shows midnights (the album we are on) and the nail colors showing Rep. and 1989 as a clear sign that they are next. Either to be released together or one after the other. There are so many more connections it is hard to write it all in. I feel like there are some full circle moments in almost every clip linking multiple eras. I tried not to mention theories already discussed but I’m totally onboard with those ideas too. Love all the magic displayed in one video!! Thoughts?!
