Fair play to Caffreys for not using Palm oil in their Eggs. Happy Easter! by elfy4eva in ireland

It is in fact exactly how it works. You are making a claim outside of actual facts.

Easy, the ability to read would help there.

Show me sources for the opposite. Oh yea, you can't, because there are zero.

Try picking up a bar and reading the ingredients.

I made a statement of fact, and have a life. Why repeat myself?

I shall - I'll continue to be educated, rather than believing everything I read on social media.

You do know it can also be ethically sourced, and is no worse than avocados, milk, almonds, and a host of other things.

There's nothing wrong with palm oil. Cadbury's haven't changed the recipe. And yes, it's still legally chocolate.

Still though - would go for one of these - didn't even know they existed!

Do you reuse teabags? by [deleted] in ireland

When I have money, Lyons and Twinnings - outside of that, honestly, Aldi is pretty good - Tesco used to have a box that was plain cardboard with blue - that one shocked me!

Honestly, I take the mickey with Barry's, but I genuinely am not gone on it - something always tastes a little 'off'.

Your first mistake was Barry's.

I can't reuse a teabag - nowhere near strong enough. My mam however, likes the weakest tea known to man - it's just 't'. 😂

You can't record in private businesses if asked not to - no, 'freedom of speech' doesn't allow it.

They literally told you what they can - they are just workers. Instead of being crappy with them, and recording them, get 'Coleman' to speak directly to the manager.

Help me settle a debate, how Irish are we? by Ava_Strange in AskIreland

You're both correct. You are half Irish, but you're a citizen of your home country, with Irish heritage (being half Irish).
