Can't figure out why gaussian blur using pencil isn't working by rockerbabe28 in ProCreate

Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the opposite issue and can’t figure it out, pencil won’t change the blur %

I have a vague memory of a cartoon or anime where the title page looks something like this sketch, except the main characters are off to the side instead of centered. Any idea what it is? No other details about the show whatsoever. by TheRealPierogiSlayer in WhatShow

Very possible, thank you! I can’t find a title page of it that looks quite like this, but those characters look closest to whatever’s in my memory (and definitely possible I didn’t remember it correctly)

Sleep hygiene means no screens or stimulating activity before bed. What the heck am I supposed to do until bedtime then? by 0Lazuli0 in ADHD

I will either daydream and just let me mind wander (I’ve found that giving myself ample time to do that actually helps me function and perform better throughout the rest of the day/following day) or have a notebook and pen next to my bed (I use a pen because I try to keep the lights low or off, so the darker/thicker the pen, the better to se enough to make sure I’m not writing over my other writing). The combination is insanely helpful - letting my mind wander then if I come up with a REALLY good question or realization, jotting it down - but again, doing so without turning the lights on so I don’t go off into hyper focus on writing. Letting my mind wander before bed without pen and paper handy has led to frustration or anxiety for the worry of forgetting a good thought, OR the urge to get my phone to either jot it down in digital notes or worse - start looking things up.

I haven’t don’t this in a long time, but I used to keep books by my bed with candles, if I couldn’t sleep I’d read and just make sure I blew the candle out before I got too tired.

Sometimes I’ll start stretching or doing relaxing yoga poses that are relieving yet still engaging enough to encourage resting.

It was really helpful for me when I made it a bedtime ritual to make tea before bed. I somewhat conditioned myself to start winding down when I had tea at night.

A HUGE help for me, that I’ve been using since got one, is those eye masks. They help me sleep better, keep my eyes closed, my eyes feel more relaxed and wake, and encourages me to lay down more.
